Never experienced this with Gurukrupa! Pandemic has not only hit financially but for some it has also affected their honesty and dignity for maintaining their businesses! I happen to buy Maaza from Gurukrupa on 25th August 2020 at 11.35 pm of 500 ml whose MRP is 40 rupees and the restaurant charged me at 56! With the urgent need i i had to bought 1 but with this i also raised a concerned for its cost of charging me nearly 40% extra that is charging 16 rupees extra! The matter was not even for that the real matter came our when the concerned person gave a blunt reply and said " yahi hamare charges hai, aapko lena hai toh lo warna jane do ".. i wished and pray to god to bless them to build a business with right dignity and moral ethics.. so unfortunate to find restaurants like Gurukrupa which once had a great image in my mind but today they have lost several satisfied customers to whom i can appeal to not visit here because each time its not only the names which matter but the moral ethics through which they treat their customers!...

After lockdown my first time having a light breakfast at 'Gurukrupa'. The taste have changed, more toned down ...if you are a masala guy with spicy demands then I will not recommend you to go here
My experience
Tried Pavbhaji and Mysore masala.. definitely not the best one I have tried ....and also quite expensive compared to the other hotel chains around. Pavbhaji was plain no spice and Mysore masala was sweet! Yup you heard me right .
Conclusion
If you are looking for a fine lunch with adequate sweet taste to the whole meal then this is definitely the place to visit . They have got parking place for 2 cars and 5 bikes and remember it's at a tight spot along a very busy road so plan accordingly. They have got 'ac' and 'non ac ' section with different rate cards accordingly. Payments are accepted in cash/card/upi.
Staff is polite and the service is very quick so you won't feel the stretch of time to...

We ordered 2 DalâŻRice plates, and the moment I tasted it, I was transported to a comforting, homely meal. There was no excess oil, no overpowering spices, no burnt masalasâjust pure, clean flavorsâexactly as youâd hope from homemade food.
What touched me even more was their hospitality. They noticed Iâd finished but was still hungry, and without me asking, they offered a refill of rice and dalâtotally free. Small gesture, big impactâit truly showed the value they place on customer care.
