The place is good but i find it little too pricey. But the food it quite good. Achija Restaurant's food menu is a gastronomic journey through the diverse flavors of North Indian cuisine, meticulously curated to delight even the most discerning palates. For the main course, indulge in rich and creamy curries, fragrant biryanis, and hearty vegetarian specialties, all served with freshly baked naan or fragrant basmati rice. The restaurant also offers a selection of tandoori delights, including tender chicken tikka, juicy kebabs, and marinated seafood, cooked to perfection in the traditional clay oven. Pair your meal with refreshing lassi, aromatic chai, or a selection of fine wines and spirits to enhance the dining experience. Read moreOne of the Best Restaurant i have ever visited. One thing that I Liked the Most is that whoever is the owners/management of this Restaurant is, they don't run this restaurant like just a business, they run this as a "Service" and that's visible as soon as you reach the entry/counter. They give Free Packaged Drinking Water absolutely Free(every other restaurants charge heavy for Packaged Drinking Water) and thats not only for diners inside, its for all who's visiting this place, infact they have kept Bottle racks just near booking counter, anyone can have it freely. And then once you get your booking and reach your reserved table, you are welcomed with Free Starter kit of 3 big sized Roasted Papads and green Chutney (every other restaurants again charges heavy for all these). Now for hygiene, every dining table has a bottle of Hand Sanitizer ready and all the tables and sittings are well cleaned after each family gets vacate after they dine. What else we want especially in this current pandemic situation.
Now for the Main Part, i.e., FOOD, Quality, Quantity and Importantly Taste of Food items Served here is Absolutely Perfect and that too comes at very very Reasonable Prices. No One Can Complaint about this.
And extra points that makes this place standout is their Staffs. All Staffs are very Polite, well dressed, well mannered and treats their customers very well and politly.
Hope my this review Is helpful for atleast few who might be searching for a good (rather Great) place to dine in Ghatkopar (or nearby) area. This place is a Must Visit Place for food lovers.
Hooe to visit here...
Read moreI visited Achija Ghatkopar East yesterday after hearing a lot about it, despite coming all the way from Pune. To put it bluntly, my experience was nothing short of disappointing—it's completely overhyped. I strongly advise against visiting this place.
Let's start with the food. I ordered Pav Bhaji and Pizza. For the Pav Bhaji, I had a simple request to make the pav crispy. What did they do? They served me the bhaji promptly, but the pav arrived a good 15 minutes later, and to my dismay, it was exactly the same as usual—no effort made to make it crispy, and it felt oddly synthetic. The lack of attention to such a basic request was disheartening.
Now, onto the pizza. Instead of using authentic mozzarella cheese, they opted for processed cheese. It completely altered the taste and texture, leaving me wondering if they cut corners with other ingredients as well. It was a letdown, especially considering the premium prices they charge.
The service matched the food in its dismal quality. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. Getting their attention was a task in itself, and when they finally did acknowledge us, it was with an air of disinterest. The overall atmosphere was underwhelming, to say the least.
In summary, if you're looking for quality food or even a decent dining experience, steer clear of Achija Restaurant. Even street food vendors in Pune/Mumbai serve better food with more care and authenticity. Save yourself the trouble and disappointment—I regret wasting my time and money here, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same....
