The place is good but i find it little too pricey. But the food it quite good. Achija Restaurant's food menu is a gastronomic journey through the diverse flavors of North Indian cuisine, meticulously curated to delight even the most discerning palates. The menu showcases a tantalizing array of dishes, ranging from traditional classics to contemporary interpretations, all crafted with the finest ingredients and authentic spices. Start your culinary adventure with appetizers like crispy samosas, flavorful chaats, and succulent kebabs, each bursting with bold and aromatic flavors. For the main course, indulge in rich and creamy curries, fragrant biryanis, and hearty vegetarian specialties, all served with freshly baked naan or fragrant basmati rice. The restaurant also offers a selection of tandoori delights, including tender chicken tikka, juicy kebabs, and marinated seafood, cooked to perfection in the traditional clay oven. Pair your meal with refreshing lassi, aromatic chai, or a selection of fine wines and spirits to enhance the dining experience. As for the atmosphere, Achija Restaurant exudes an ambiance that is both elegant and inviting. The interior is adorned with vibrant colors, intricate artwork, and soft lighting, creating a warm and welcoming space that is perfect for intimate dinners or celebratory gatherings. The gentle hum of conversation fills the air, accompanied by the tantalizing aromas of spices and freshly cooked dishes. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or that special someone, Achija Restaurant offers a relaxed and comfortable setting where you can savor each bite and create...

One of the Best Restaurant i have ever visited. One thing that I Liked the Most is that whoever is the owners/management of this Restaurant is, they don't run this restaurant like just a business, they run this as a "Service" and that's visible as soon as you reach the entry/counter. They give Free Packaged Drinking Water absolutely Free(every other restaurants charge heavy for Packaged Drinking Water) and thats not only for diners inside, its for all who's visiting this place, infact they have kept Bottle racks just near booking counter, anyone can have it freely. And then once you get your booking and reach your reserved table, you are welcomed with Free Starter kit of 3 big sized Roasted Papads and green Chutney (every other restaurants again charges heavy for all these). Now for hygiene, every dining table has a bottle of Hand Sanitizer ready and all the tables and sittings are well cleaned after each family gets vacate after they dine. What else we want especially in this current pandemic situation.

Now for the Main Part, i.e., FOOD, Quality, Quantity and Importantly Taste of Food items Served here is Absolutely Perfect and that too comes at very very Reasonable Prices. No One Can Complaint about this.

And extra points that makes this place standout is their Staffs. All Staffs are very Polite, well dressed, well mannered and treats their customers very well and politly.

Hope my this review Is helpful for atleast few who might be searching for a good (rather Great) place to dine in Ghatkopar (or nearby) area. This place is a Must Visit Place for food lovers.

Hooe to visit here...

I visited Achija Ghatkopar East yesterday after hearing a lot about it, despite coming all the way from Pune. To put it bluntly, my experience was nothing short of disappointing—it's completely overhyped. I strongly advise against visiting this place.

Let's start with the food. I ordered Pav Bhaji and Pizza. For the Pav Bhaji, I had a simple request to make the pav crispy. What did they do? They served me the bhaji promptly, but the pav arrived a good 15 minutes later, and to my dismay, it was exactly the same as usual—no effort made to make it crispy, and it felt oddly synthetic. The lack of attention to such a basic request was disheartening.

Now, onto the pizza. Instead of using authentic mozzarella cheese, they opted for processed cheese. It completely altered the taste and texture, leaving me wondering if they cut corners with other ingredients as well. It was a letdown, especially considering the premium prices they charge.

The service matched the food in its dismal quality. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. Getting their attention was a task in itself, and when they finally did acknowledge us, it was with an air of disinterest. The overall atmosphere was underwhelming, to say the least.

In summary, if you're looking for quality food or even a decent dining experience, steer clear of Achija Restaurant. Even street food vendors in Pune/Mumbai serve better food with more care and authenticity. Save yourself the trouble and disappointment—I regret wasting my time and money here, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same....

~ Achija Veg Restaurant ~ Achija! The name itself is enough for you to start drooling over the finger licking foods served at Khau Galli in Ghatkopar East. Its a very old restaurant serving delicious vegetarian dishes since generations. Excellent for family get togethers.. Must Try - Their 'Pav Bhaji' is something people crave for. Even while passing through the street, the fragrance of their Pav Bhaji is super tempting and makes your mood.. Pro Tip - After finishing here, do try Bhagat Tarachand chaat which is located right opposite to it. Note - The below picture of Pav Bhaji is not from here, its just put for representational purpose. U P D A T E - 2 Last night we visited here and there was a endless wait! We almost waited for 1 whole hour and then left disappointed. Kindly note! They serve hot pav bhaji in a plastic plate. Which is actually very toxic to your body. We then had some chaat at the Bhagat Tarachand outlet just opposite to it and that indeed made our day. Kindly change the plastic plates. Update - 3 We finally got to eat this world famous Pav bhaji and I must say it was all worth the wait but definately not worth the amount. The Extra pav charge here is 20₹ for each. The ambiance is done great and comfortable for family outings as they have two separate family tables inside which can give you a private party feels. PRO Tip BRO - Carry your own extra butter pav in bag.

My recent visit to Achija restaurant left me with a sense of profound disappointment. I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it prompts some reflection on the current state of affairs at your establishment. Our anticipation for a delightful evening was quickly shattered by the excruciating wait times, surpassing an hour in the midst of what appeared to be a lively crowd. The ambiance, initially promising, was overshadowed by a series of culinary letdowns. The Manchow soup, to put it frankly, resembled nothing more than boiled water. The replacement we reluctantly requested managed to be an even more dismal affair. The Hakka noodles were a sad excuse for a dish, lacking any discernible flavor, and the Paneer Crispy failed to live up to its name – far from crispy and sorely lacking in appeal. Unfortunately, these disappointments were compounded by the overall service and management, which fell far below expectations. I must express my profound dissatisfaction with our encounter at Achija. As a patron, one hopes for an enjoyable experience, but sadly, this was far from the case. I sincerely hope you take this critique seriously and consider making the necessary improvements to bring Achija back up to the standards one would expect. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Be prepared for the longest waiting time. We went in around 8.45 to 9 pm and stood until past 10 am. Since it was already too late to go anywhere else and to justify our standing for 30 mins already. The host remembers your name and reminds occasionally by reminding 3 more mins or 5 more mins. He even sent out a plate of garlic bread as complimentary. We saw tawa pulav and pav bhaji being made. The extra pulao discarded into a large vessel. The waiters are attentive and will suggest dishes that are good and fresh. It was quite a rush and most were prepared to wait for tables. There is no parking anywhere along the road known for eateries so park where and when you can find the place. We had butter and cheese pav bhaji. It didn't suit well with us, it was a bit like Sadhguru pav bhaji but too much butter. It felt spicy too. It's good but not for us. The masala pav is decent for two people sharing one plate. What we did like however was the dal khichadi which the waiter suggested with a bit of extra tadka on top. That felt quite good with the raita and was quite comforting. The Musambi juice was quite good and fresh too. Don't think will be here back again anytime soon.
