Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai — Restaurant in Mumbai

I had a bad experience twice with Theobroma and the delivery person. Have spoilt two of my occasion. Once the delivery guy could not understand clear direction even for an hour and finally got the cake after like two hours of delay. Second time the delivery guy said he reached at my place and called so he returned the parcel back at the restaurant. When asked the delivery guy to tell the number on which he called he did not have the number at all and was just lying. My slot was between 8 to 9 pm was calling theobroma and the rider multiple times upfront to ask for my delivery coz it was valentine's day and it was a surprise but all my plans got ruined. I called up the customer care they were keeping me on hold for around 15 to 20 mins without my permission. Finally after keeping patience on that at around 11pm I asked the customer care to refund me...

Forget the food for a second. What makes theobroma stand out is the cute white and vanilla green theme of the entire chain which gives it a very feel-good vibe. The BKC outlet has a selection of salad and soup to choose from at Lunch. Iver generally found the soups excellent (cream of spinach and broccoli) and the salads are a perfect mix of dressings and toppings. All the other bakery items, be it the caramel tomato sandwich, paneer junglee roll, are very filling and excellent when it comes to toast. I wanted to order a walnut cake but as they do not have that they suggested me Hazelnut Praline Mousse cake. The cake was delicious and very fresh. They take extra delivery charge depending upon the location. For Kurla, they charged 150 INR. The staff was polite and professional however it would have better if they would have mentioned that the size of the cake is small as compared to normal size. As I was not sure about the cake I asked them if I could find it’s image on Zomato or any other place. They asked to google it. What I found vs what I got is different in size for sure. The delivery was on time with a polite delivery guy. The size would have almost ruined my event but I somehow managed. Please do mention correct details about your products...
