We visited this place today after reading all the positive reviews. Sorry to say this place treats it's customers as rats. They served us onions which were chopped since early morning and kept in a shoe rack kind of a table which is kept right at the entrance and is filled with plates and other crockery. The restaurant chose such a damp place to keep onions and lime which was already cut into pieces and filled in a plastic tray. Each time they served a customer onions or lime it was right from this filthy table which is never cleant or wiped in years. When we requested the server Mr akash to give us freshly cut onions as the onions from that shoe rack table were stale. Mr akash again went towards the same table and removed onions with his bare hands and placed it on a fresh plate and took it in kitchen and brought it to our table. He thought we were blind to not see what he did as we were sitting right next to that shoe rack table. When we told mr akash that this was unacceptable to us he looked at us with a very aggressively as if he would hit us. He also picked up our plates and kept it on the shoe rack table in anger. Point to be noted the very same shoe rack table is also used for keeping used dishes on top. After having enough of Mr akash we called up the manager but he did not turn up instead a man dressed in formals came to us and asked us our problem. When we informed him about the ordeal he replied It seems we have been storing and serving onions from this table for a long time now and I am not aware that we are not suppose to store it here. How can a restaurant such as urban tadka be so irresponsible and store cut onions and lime in such a damp place and serve its customers. They don't care about our health or hygiene. More over they even charged us service charge which we asked them to remove as we were very upset about the whole fiasco. I will never visits such a horrible place ever again as they don't care about the customers health. Filthy place and I hope I cud...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing: Served Uncooked and Cold Food even after waiting for 1 hour after placing the order and the service was also horrible. I had ordered Tandoori pomfret, Tadka biriyani, Murgh mussallm, Hazelnut shake and butter rotti. To begin with, the food I received was not only uncooked but also served cold. Especially the chicken biriyani, it was extremely cold and the rice was dry, literally we couldn't eat it. The tandoori pomfret was uncooked. Hazelnut shake was just felt like a normal milk with lot of sugar in it, they don't even know how to make a shake. Butter roti and Murgh mussellam was just ok. Also I could see the our issue is not an odd one, the same thing happened with some people sitting near by our table, they also had the same issue, We could see they also complaining, they got uncooked cold food and they where talking to a staff and they were asking them to take it back and bring newly well cooked food. We couldn't do that, first of all we got food after waiting for 1 hr and asking the staffs 3 or 4 times. Since we had placed all the orders and they told they have started the food preparation, we didn't walk away for the restaurant. Already the food as too late so we didn't ask them to bring it back and cook again. When we were paying the bill a major portion of the food was on the table itself, but the staff didn't even asked, is there any issues with the food or why we didn't eat? Staffs behaviour was really rude as if they are serving free food. Overall it was a worst experience. There are many alternatives options in phoenix mall to have a good food with good service. Due to this pathetic experience, we had food from a restaurant in the same phoenix mall, and it was really great experience, food and their service was commendable.
