The Thugs and Goondas of New Delhi.

I was under the impression that this restaurant was a Great Restaurant and with a superb ambience will be one of the best restaurant in Delhi, but I was proved wrong by the Rude, Insulting and Crass behaviour of the the Cashier and Manger Mr. Manjeet.

But the Cash Counter Staff and the manager Mr. Manjeet is a Cheat Thug Goonda in Uniform

While entering the restaurant I had clearly asked the staff whether the Credit Card POS machine is working or not, the staff told me very sweetly it's working.

After I complete my snacks and asked for the Credit Card POS machine, they gave me the excuse that the POS is not working due to network issue.

I asked for the UPI QR to be provided to me so I can process the Payment, I processed the Payment from my Bank Account directly to their QR, but these cheats told me that they didn't received any Payment. The Cashier in a very Bad and Rude told told me to process the Payment faster as if I am a person who wants to eat freely, despite of showing him the proof Payment deduction in my HDFC Electronic Statement.

The manager Mr. Manjeet told me to get lost and go away in a very Rude, Crass and Insulting manner and told me that the Payment will be reversed back in my account if I had done the Payment. While asking him what is the guarantee that the restaurant will reverse the charge or not (In a loud tone) he took it in a very bad way and very Rudley and Was in a mood to beat me up, told me to simply get lost and I can complaint anywhere and he don't care and he know how to handle the authorities.

So, In order to save myself and my dignity I was compelled to dial in Delhi Police Helpline number, and Delhi Police Promptly send the Local PCR to attend to my complaint, While I was explaining the whole scenario I to the Assistant Sub Inspector, with all the fact and chronology of events, Mr. Manjeet the manager was also threatening me in front of the Delhi Police personnel whithout any respect to either to the customer or to the Law Enforcement Personnel.

On the basis of mediatorship of Delhi Police Personnel I decided to wait for next 24 hours to check whether the restaurant return back my money or they simply digest the money shamelessly.

I was lucky that today I have the money in my Account and was able to transfer it to them, if I was not (Beacuse of Double charge) then they could have done anything with me.

I would personally suggest to avoid this restaurant and want to keep your dignity intact then simply donot enter this restaurant as this restaurant Management is Thugs, Thieves and cheaters.

The Food is good, the Person who served me was amazing...

Review Title: A Perfect South Indian Delight at The Juggernaut – Connaught Place

If you're a fan of authentic South Indian cuisine, then The Juggernaut at Connaught Place is a must-visit! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a beautiful and cozy ambiance that exudes warmth and charm. The music adds to the experience, creating a perfect vibe that enhances the overall dining atmosphere.

As for the food, it’s nothing short of outstanding! The Anar Dosai was a delightful surprise — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with tangy chutneys. The Podi Ghee Idli was another highlight of the meal. Soft, fluffy idlis drizzled with ghee and sprinkled with podi were simply divine. The traditional flavors were spot on, and every bite took me back to the roots of South Indian cuisine.

What I truly appreciate about The Juggernaut is its commitment to delivering authentic, high-quality South Indian dishes with a modern touch. The food is prepared with love and care, and it reflects in the taste and presentation.

The ambiance here is equally impressive. The blend of traditional and contemporary decor creates a welcoming, cozy environment that makes it perfect for any occasion. Whether you're dining with friends or enjoying a quiet meal alone, the space is always inviting.

The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that your experience is smooth from start to finish. The service was fast, and the staff made great recommendations based on my preferences.

Final Thoughts: If you’re craving traditional South Indian flavors in the heart of Delhi, The Juggernaut is the place to be. The combination of delicious food, relaxing ambiance, and soulful music makes this a top-notch spot for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal. Highly...

The worst food i have ever had in my life, from the patty to the filter coffee, nothing was good. The service was bad, it was busy hours, we were patient, but they served food without sambhar and made us wait for another 10 minutes by the time my family ate half the dosai, it took 10 people to get water, approx. 5 to take the order and my dad to ask them to deliver the starters, then the main course again took ages, the food was not good, only mysore masal dosai was good, masala dosai, cheese masla dosaid and my cheese and veg uttapam plus filter coffee were not good. The patty was average , the noodles were good, but last i checked, it should be for South India food right? The sambhar was “WATER” or ready to eat Sambhar, i swear i know how to cook and this is not the sambhar. The staff was courteous and nice, when told the manager he was helpful and took immediate action to it. The manager, staff and gaurd they were all nice, courteous and humble, but it was a mess, mismanaged! You guys need to make someone sit for bookings, gaurds are not for these jobs, let him do his gaurd work. The guy in kurta was the most hardworking after the gaurd. The manager was looking after things but the service was not upto the mark, it is okay to take less tables, but serve good. I understand it was a busy hour but serving late, not serving, bad quality of food is not something we look for when we go out with family to dine in. Just a feedback, you guys can do better, not being rude or harsh, people are hardworking just make some management things work. Good luck!

This is a new branch of the Juggernaut in Kailash Colony and it’s barely a two minute walk from the Barakhamba metro station. The location is almost unbelievably good, so they’re either filthy rich and have friends in high places, or landed it based on reputation alone. If the latter… eh. The food is pretty good, but the portions are more snack sized than meal sized. The ambience would indicate that it’s an upscale joint, but they give you disposable cutlery, which is confusing. They’re certainly priced like an upper-mid range restaurant; we paid well over a thousand bucks for two people. The branding and signage inside the restaurant pushes for the cold filter coffee, claiming they “invented it”, but I’m pretty sure every Indian coffee house in the country would beg to differ. Also, it’s super sweet and tastes like coffee milkshake, so I wouldn’t really pay over 250 bucks for it, which is what it costs. As far as service goes, the wait staff is super sweet and they seem to be doing their best, but they’re noticeably overwhelmed during lunch hours, even on weekdays. We waited 20 minutes for a table, and close to half an hour for our food. But since the ambience is quite pleasant, this wasn’t a pain. I’d strongly recommend the curry leaf ghee idli podi; the Chettinad masala dosa was okay. Not one mushroom could be found in the mushroom paniyaram, so skip that, or get a regular non-stuffed one. The chutneys are all excellent. It’s definitely not the best South Indian food in the city, a title the Kailash colony branch seems to be in the running for.
