Tamasha India has always been A Talk of the Town for Revamping the Food revolution with a difference. This Time, it was the Independence Day special, which I didn't wanted to miss and I am glad, I was able to visit them during the celebration time. The spirit of the tricolor was spreading across their decor, food and the hospitality. An array of Cocktails, Mocktails, Starters, Main course and desserts were especially curated to keep the theme alive. Not to miss #mytamasha fever that’s viral across social media added to the spirit of enjoying good food and share the good times you had aboard.
Coming down to the grub, the food and drink menu comprises the best finger foods and platters across the food. Food and the decor is informal and it becomes a cool and happening place to hangout with friends and family over casual dining.
This is what we tried with bunch of foodie friends over a luncheon last week. We visited them during Independence special and ordered few regulars and few weekly specials from their menu.
In the drinks section, I tried their much talked Mocktail, Three to Tango. A pleasure to eye, this drink is a love at first sight. The muddled orange, peach and cranberry drink with mint and orange slices implicits the Tricolor spirit. Highly Recommended 👌👌
Because some drinks are not easy to give up and I love this Red beauty Anyday, I ordered Bloody Mary to go along with the mood. The perfect blend of Vodka, Tomato, Tabasco, Worcester sauce, lime, salt and celery stick, this one was so good. Highly Recommended ✌️✌️
Starters: We were not in the mood to have proper course luncheon, so sticked to their starters and appetizers mainly.
Classic Tempura Prawns: These were Crispy fried battered tempura Prawns with wasabi mayonnaise, and galangal cream that was simply lip smacking. A Must Try 👌👌
A Honey Glazed Pecking Chicken Salad: I simply loved it as it was a light and filling salad that consist of pulled pecking chicken, julienne carrot, bean shoots, holy Thai Basil, spring onions, cherry tomatoes, crispy greens and arugula in tangy hoisin vinaigrette with whole wheat lavash. A Must Try 👌👌
Tri color Dimsum: Going along with the independence special, we tried these beautiful tri-colored chicken Dimsums, which were a stellar. Moist, juicy and delicious, they were really good.
Chicken Sui Mui: These were nice and cooked well. Loved the Sui Mui sheet, which was melt-in mouth.
Cantonese Lemon fish: One of the best dish on their menu and we loved to order this Everytime we visit this place. The crispy fried river sole fingers tossed in rice wine, trio of bell peppers and served along with Cantonese dip, this was mouth melt-in.
Tri color Grilled cottage cheese steak: Another light and lovely dish from their menu, which got an Independence Day makeover, was their Trip colour Grilled cottage steal expressed through colors of natural sauces of beetroot, burnt garlic fresh beans, smoked cherry tomatoes, spinach. Served with zucchini tricolor strips, this got me a hangover with the theme.
I can't end my meal, without a small desert, so we did tasted their Tiramisu jars, lined up with sinful and creamy layers along with nutty praline indulgence, which was a beautiful desert.
Overall, the Delicious food grub, Independence day theme and spirit, with a lively ambience and hospitality made our luncheon an absolute pleasure. It is one of the best place for me to enjoy with friends and family and I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to others. Looking forward to enjoy and come back for their...

Read moreWe went to Tamasha after reading so many highly rated reviews and it was almost as good as the reviews said. There are seatings available indoor and outdoors, but outdoor seatings are available only after late in the evening. The ambience of the restaurant is very good, dim light, loud music, spaced seating arrangement. In drinks we ordered twister, which was delicious with chunks of pineapple in it. For starters we ordered Wild mushroom and Chinese Green Dumplings, which were served with chilli oil and a green sauce. The dumplings were delicious, with translucent skin, and juicy mushroom and greens inside. Mixed with the sauces the flavour was elevated a thousand times. The second starter we ordered was Cottage Cheese Hussies. They were round fried cheese poppers topped with a drop of tomato salsa on the top and a drop of mango jalapeno mayonnaise. This has average flavour because the texture of mushed cottage chesse was not very good. For main course we ordered Paneer Lababdar, which comes with Naan and masala onion rings. Lababdar was unfortunately of average flavour nothing elevating there. For desert we ordered Red Velvet Jar which was served in a rather small jar. It had alternate layering of cream cheese and Red velvet cake. The cream cheese was very smooth and light and had a delicious flavour to it. The only negative thing about the restaurant was the service. It was very hastened. Plates were being removed very soon without being asked if they should be removed which was unsettling and kind of killed that laid back Vibe. So some improvements can be done there. Overall great restaurant, good food, a visit is highly...
