I am adding a photo of the kerala style veg meals (curd curry, rasam and pappadam are not in the photo) and fish fry. Meals ₹80 Fish fry ₹80. Meal is unlimited. I believe this is genuinely good food for the value you're paying. Genuine kerala style preparation (important to quote this because so many kerala hotels in noida provide really non kerala style food with excess oil and non coconut oil preparation) and simple food while fish fry was really good and fresh.
I have read a lot of reviews here with negative content but I'd like to point out that away from home this is one of the best genuine kerala meal you can have in NCR, and at such low value. The food may not be extraordinary but does justice to the bill.
Non keralites will be disappointed for lack of diverse menu (most days for lunch, meals chicken fry fish fry are the only available items and some days biryani is available). Also Kerala doesn't have tradition of serving warm meals necessarily. I could see some non keralites complaining about this while i was there. But that's the way it is in an traditional kerala home or even some hotels in Kerala. Food is cooked once (for both lunch and dinner) and is not necessarily reheated before serving.
You may need to wait as per token queue. If you visit late then there are chances fish and chicken are not available. In the end please note it is a staff canteen. Not a...
Read moreKerala House Samraddhi Canteen is the only eating place where you get good quality food at affordable rates.
If you visit this place for lunch in the afternoon then their vegetarian thali will cost you 80 rupees in which you can take Meat fry Price which will be 100 rupees. If you love eating sweet dishes then do not forget to try their Payasam which will cost you only ₹10.
Overall, you can fill your stomach completely here in ₹190 as you are given the option of unlimited refills in the veg meal.
Their food menu changes every day for lunch and dinner and you can also enjoy other delicious dishes of Kerala, the best of which is their Chicken Biryani.
Chicken Biryani is so delicious, which costs Rs 150, its quantity is also very good and there is no compromise in the quality also. When you eat it, you will smell the delicious spices of Kerala and you will also enjoy the dry fruits. This biryani is served with raita and pickle and papad is also given along with it which is enough to fill the stomach of one person.
I liked everything here very much, the food was very good, I often come here and whenever I come, I find a crowd of people here. If you also want to enjoy their dishes then please come as early as possible during lunch hours and...
Read moreWhat a delightful kerala canteen in the heart of Delhi! Samridhi Canteen at Kerala House is quite simply the most authentic Kerala dining experience you'll find in the capital, and at prices that seem almost too good to be true.
The vegetarian meals, served with pristine Matta rice, fragrant sambar, and two varieties of perfectly spiced subzis, are an absolute steal at just ₹50 for unlimited portions. The food is genuinely home-style cooking - exactly what you'd expect in a traditional Kerala household.
While the setting is wonderfully unpretentious and functional, the focus here is entirely on the food - and rightly so! The sambar deserves special mention; they serve it in generous portions, and the flavour is spot-on. For non-vegetarians, their chicken dishes are particularly noteworthy.
Yes, the menu isn't extensive, but what they do serve is cooked to perfection. The canteen's no-frills approach actually adds to its charm - this is real food for real people, served with warmth and efficiency.
Do note that it can get quite busy during peak lunch hours, but the quick service ensures you won't be waiting long. For anyone craving authentic Kerala cuisine in Delhi, this place is an...
