Located at the outskirts of Connaught Place its a easy place to find amid the rows of shops in the area. Its mere minutes away from the New Delhi Railway Station so one can go there to complete their food cravings. But it also means it close to other competitors which might interest you.
Coming to the infrastructure it's made like a modern restaurant chain but with a bit of style i haven't seen anywhere else. The simple furniture and dining on two levels gives the customer a choice and the wooden planked stairwell just add to the style they wanted to create. The one thing I didn't like was the washroom tap. I know it's nitpicking but that stuff was broken and loose.
Coming to the main thing people come for to a restaurant. The Food. I tried The Tandoori Chicken Breast, The Chicken Tawa Changezi and the usual Tandoori Naan. The Naan was as usual, simple yet delicious. The Chicken Tawa Changezi was spicy and very different from a usual butter chicken. Its more spicy and has has more flavours all around. Came with 2 pieces of chicken. Then comes the Tandoori Chicken breast. Let's say it's complicated. The Texture was great and biting down into it was great. It was soft and juicy. But that all about it. It didn't have a great "Tandoori" flavour in it so that made it feel normal and not something special that you should order. But if you like tandoori chicken please feel to order it and try for yourself.
Overall I would say it's a good place to eat, but it may get a little bit too expensive if many people are...
Read moreWanted to try a fast food restaurant with local Indian characteristics, so I chose this restaurant for lunch. It's located on the outskirts of the Connaught place ring, and it's not that lively. But when we entered the restaurant, we saw that the seats in the restaurant were about 60 to 70% full. We thought that meant their food was pretty good, right?
We ordered a non-veg thali meal, a paneer burger, and two drinks. There is obviously a canned soft drink option on the menu, but the orderer kept asking us to order drinks in tossed cups. We thought there were no canned drinks (but there are obviously still in the refrigerator?) and several groups of guests order after us also received canned drinks! After checking the bill, it turns out that the unit price of drinks in tossed cups is relatively high, so they always recommend it!
The non-veg thali was not as delicious as expected, and the portion was small. Among all the dishes, only the chicken curry tasted better, and even the biriyani was very ordinary. The panneer burger was small in size but tasted pretty good, just a little too spicy.
There are two floors in the store. The air in the downstairs part is relatively good, while the upstairs part smells a bit of oil smoke. The bathroom is right next to it, so the air...
Read moreHey, I went to Nazeer which is located in CP yesterday. CP does not have much halal options that is the reason which made me visit this place. First I would like to talk about the ambience, they have decorated the restaurant pretty well but the restroom was not working and not even the tap of the basin which made us too uncomfortable. next up is their service, the staff which took us order did not even hear that we ordered biryani and we had to ask for it later after waiting for it the whole time. They did not give us spoon and the sauces, we had to ask for them too. They did not even give us glasses to drink their expensive water. Next up is the taste of food.. I must say chicken makhani tasted good but the butter was so much that it spilled over the table. The masala biryani was so bad that it was not even eatable and they just poured the gravy of chicken changezi on plain biryani to make it masala biryani. The raita (which they gave us after we ASKED for it) was completely spoiled, the yogurt in it smelt pretty bad. Overall, we regret visiting this place and anybody reading this...
