Pizza Hut | Janpath, Delhi — Restaurant in New Delhi

Dear Pizza Hut Team,

I am writing this to express my deep disappointment with the behavior of one of your staff members at the Connaught Place outlet, which I visited today along with my friend ..We are regular customers and usually enjoy our experience, but today was extremely unpleasant due to the rude attitude of a particular staff member.

The restaurant was full when we arrived, and the only available seating was near the entrance, which was not comfortable for us. We noticed that one of the larger dinner-style tables (meant for 4-5 people) was unoccupied, so we sat there. A staff member – a short, slightly heavy-set man – came and rudely asked us to move as he wanted to clean the table. We politely stood up and waited. Once it was cleaned, we sat again.

Soon, a group of people arrived and began looking for seats. That same staff member returned and insisted, quite rudely, that we move and sit somewhere else, even though we had clearly mentioned that the other seats were not comfortable for us. His exact words were: "This is a dinner seat. You don’t get to choose where to sit. You can't sit here." His tone was aggressive and dismissive.

We tried to resolve the situation calmly and even requested another staff member to help us find a better seating option. However, to our surprise, the same rude staff member returned to take our order and continued his disrespectful behavior, saying we had no choice but to sit where he instructed us.

As loyal and respectful customers, we expect better treatment and basic courtesy from your staff. His behavior was unprofessional, and his tone throughout was condescending and unnecessarily rude. This kind of treatment ruins the entire dining experience.

I sincerely request you to look into this matter, identify the staff member in question, and ensure that such behavior is not repeated with any customer in the future. Staff should be trained to speak politely and handle seating concerns with empathy, not attitude.

Pathetic behaviour of staff..specially Satish the Manager. We had come here to celebrate mothers day...but had a horrible experience....we reached at around 10.50pm.They didnt allow us to dine in "as per RULES"...so we decided to take away...after 15-20min another family came they were also having their take away... by the tym our order was ready and we left....Our car was parked in front of Pizza Hut. I just went to take ketchup just saw that same family was enjoyng their meal...Such a double standard and as per RULES" they were late but sitting enjyng there so called MAHAN PIZZA....and we were struggling to have it in this hot weather wid our mother and children in the car...without any ketchup spoons or glasses...they don't bother wen we complaint about whole of this incidence...or i think he dont understand what we saying....And one whom we met earlier....MR Satish...he said u were Good ppl and easily accepted for take away..such a PATHETIC...
