The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and very accomodating. The breakfast spread was cold but that could have been due to us going up late. The terrace restaurant is good and service is very affable. A word of thanks to the manager Mr.Gopal , who was of invaluable help and made our stay the most comfortable one. He was polite all through and answered all queries very sincerely and without indifference. Also, he was instrumental in providing accurate and good information regarding good hotels around for vegetarians, places to see, parking pointers, which helped save us a lot of time and made the trip a great one!

We visited Pondi again during the long weekend following Aug15. We had a great experience this time as well at Le Supreme, courtesy the ever dependable manager, Mr.Gopal. We intimated him a couple of days back since this was a sudden trip with family and he ensured the rooms were available and cleaned. We reached at 3am morning, the reception staff had already kept the rooms ready. We got a discount at the Eagle adventures boating trip courtesy Mr.Gopal again. He keeps providing helpful updates based on your requirements and stay and ensures that it's memorable.
Last time we had come, the terrace garden was good, but this time they have taken it up a notch by having live music. We had a scrumptious dinner one of the days listening to the local boys Hadkin and Nixon playing lovely melodies on the violin and keyboard. Food is good and they have a 2+1 free offer on drinks(depending on the days- chk with the staff). Their terrace garden is called Sky Garden and they have different musicians playing on different days.
Rooms are good and clean. Washrooms are clean. Room service is also prompt. We ordered food in room one of the days and it was served as requested.
We had booked 2 executive rooms this time. Both have king size beds good for 2 adults and a kid. The rooms also have a table and hair and a minibar fridge in case you want to order beverages from the restaurant above. They do have a policy of charging extra for delayed checkout but that is to ensure they have time to clean the rooms prior to the next checkin. However, this can be sorted by speaking to the Manager. He is very accommodating depending on the situation. Also, this is clearly mentioned on the dos and don't sheet in the rooms as well. We checked out an hour later than 10am and didn't have to pay anything extra. The staff at the reception did inform in advance that there would be an extra charge. You can speak to the Manager and he will help if he has the leeway at the time. This is to be expected since it's situated in prime location next to Busee street and the influx of tourists was very heavy over this weekend.
A shoutout to the staff of Sky Garden and Mr.Gopal for also arranging a birthday cake and setting up a birthday bash for my sister at a very short notice. She enjoyed it and the cake was very good as well. They had a sparkler gun as well which made it fun! They were up till 12am to get this done with a smile even when handling a hectic day full of visitors through the evening.

My recent stay at Le Supreme Inn left much to be desired, marred by a series of unfortunate incidents that significantly detracted from what could have been a pleasant experience.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a less-than-warm reception as the front desk informed me that my reservation had been overcharged. Despite presenting my booking confirmation, it took considerable time and effort to rectify the issue. This administrative hiccup set a disappointing tone for the rest of my stay.
Furthermore, due to unforeseen circumstances, I arrived at the hotel eight hours later than anticipated. While I understand the constraints hotels face with regard to check-in times, I was surprised to find that the hotel management insisted on an early check-out, despite my late arrival. This request felt particularly unwelcoming, given the circumstances beyond my control.
Moreover, when I inquired about extending my stay by a couple of hours to make up for the delayed check-in, I was informed that each additional hour would cost an exorbitant 300 rupees. This excessive charge for a few extra hours of occupancy left a bitter taste, especially considering the inconveniences I had already encountered.
Overall, while the physical amenities of Hotel Name were adequate and the room was comfortable, the lack of flexibility and understanding from the management regarding the check-in and check-out times, coupled with the additional charges imposed, overshadowed any positive aspects of my stay. As a traveler who values customer service and fairness, I found this experience disappointing and would hesitate to recommend [Hotel Name] to fellow travelers seeking a hassle-free stay.

Read moreSuch a worst service ever. The person who is sitting in reception (aug 12th 7 to 7:30 pm) was totally rude. While entering itself he talked very bad.Then the bathroom and room was not nice. Dustbin was full of dust. The geyser was not working. Wifi signal is too low. Then we gave sweets which is completed packed twice and gift wrapped. Even air can't enter inside. We asked them to give that sweets cover to my brother who will be coming to that hotel on that day since due to emergency we can't meet him and the person also said ok. That is the word he said and nothing else. WE HAVE RECORDED THAT ALSO. But after 3 hours itself he opened the gift wrapper and cardboard box and ate that sweets and while my brother asking he told like I kept somewhere else and I can't search now and u won't get that sweets WHICH IS RECORDED. He spoke bad words also. He not even tried to search. It is clearly defining that he ate that fully. I contacted through mobile and asked him. He said ant came. The sweets were completely packed and gift wrapped. it is BG Naidu ghee cake and everyone knows that even air can't go inside. He is telling full lie and he scolded us badly. Such a RUDE PATHETIC WORST MANAGEMENT EVER. EVEN THERE IS NO SAFETY FOR YOUR THINGS KEEPING INSIDE THE ROOM ALSO. we stayed so many hotels in pondy for business meetings and this is WORST HOTEL EVER IN PONDY.
