Read moreThey have only a self-service concept. We need to decide what we want and pay the bill! The waiters will pick up the order and give it to us at the table.
When we entered the restaurant it was really crowded. We somehow found a cramped table for 2.
We placed the order and paid for it too! While patiently waiting for the server to clean our table. No one came to us!! After much deliberation a waiter appeared and cleaned the table half heartedly.
When we were served the Pani puri , I felt so bad. No one here has tried Gangotri Pani puri in Chennai!! That's the best , this was just a waste.
Then we got our dinner combo. The idli in the combo was so dry. I have taken a video of the same.
Anyways this is just my experience.
By the time we could wash our hands and come the waiter had cleared the table and shooed us off.
We just walked out when my husband recollected that the coffee for the combo dinner was not delivered. I took a pic of the server who was rude. Later he apologized and gave us the coffee.
Such irresponsible staff and the...
Read moreMy time at Oceans7 was quite a ride. We stopped by in the late afternoon and found a spacious restaurant with different sections. The air conditioning was on, but it didn't seem to be doing much. Maybe because there weren't many people there. You have to order at the counter before finding a table, and then they bring your food to you.
It was around 3pm when we tried to order lunch, but unfortunately, they were all out of lunch meals. We ended up choosing a few dishes that we hoped would be good. The Chilly Paneer was amazing, but the rest of our meal didn't quite meet our expectations. The Veg Sandwich was a letdown with only a few pieces of onion and cucumber. The Mint Lime Juice was watered down and lacked flavor. The Pasta Napolitan tasted a lot like Maggi Masala. Overall, the meal was a bit of a mixed bag.
This is one of the few vegetarian restaurants on this street. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet all my...
