Aventure Restopub & Nightlife — Restaurant in Puducherry

I recently visited Aventures Pub in Pondicherry and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Ambience & Facilities: To start with, the air conditioning was barely working, making it very uncomfortable inside. The place felt poorly maintained and not managed well. For a venue that promotes itself as a modern and happening spot, the infrastructure was substandard.

Crowd & Atmosphere: What shocked me the most was the nature of the crowd. The place was filled with very young boys and girls, and the environment felt completely inappropriate—especially for families or anyone looking for a safe, decent place to enjoy a night out. Many people seemed to be engaging in suspicious behavior—exchanging numbers and behaving in ways that made us extremely uncomfortable. The management seemed indifferent to this.

Concerns: While I cannot confirm anything illegal, the entire atmosphere gave the impression that something inappropriate or unethical might be going on behind the scenes. It didn’t feel like a place focused on hospitality or customer experience. In fact, it seemed like the management was either neglectful or possibly even encouraging certain disturbing dynamics. The bouncers and some staff members appeared overly familiar with certain female guests, which further added to the discomfort.

Not Suitable for Families: This is definitely not a place for families or for people looking for a safe and respectful environment. I strongly advise against visiting this pub, especially if you’re with women or children. There are many better and safer venues in...

The place is located just above the levis store and gets cramped up for parking on weekends. So if you are planning to visit the place , make sure you've a place to park. Once parked rest is pure bliss. It's a quiet and beautiful place for food and liquor with our friends and family. On the first floor they have a gaming place, the second floor is a Cruise ship themed restaurant, the third floor is a proper club with a dance floor and Dj set up and the fourth floor is a rooftop lounge. My experience at Aventure Restaurant (2nd floor) was a mixed bag. While the food especially chicken fritters and Japan chicken was delicious but the overall dining experience was spoiled by the staff's behaviour. The staff's lack of politeness and continuous insistence on us to provide 5 star Google rating along with his suggested review wordings on google reviews page left a negative impression. Additionally, the absence of a swipe machine for card payments added inconvenience to the dining experience. It's disappointing when an excellent cuisine is tainted by poor customer service.
