I have been a patron of this establishment intermittently for approximately two years now. The consistent appeal of its food quality, inviting ambience, the charming presence of native cats, and the attentive service have made it a preferred choice for me. However, I must recount a recent incident that slightly marred the otherwise positive experiences.
During my recent visit, my companions and I encountered an unexpected situation. We were denied the option to order snacks after 9 pm, with the explanation that only main course items and continental dishes were available. This was a departure from previous occasions when we were served items such as Sabudana Wada after the same hour. It struck us as particularly unusual, considering the establishment had previously accommodated snack orders post-9 pm. Moreover, a more logical conclusion would be to conclude snack service by 7 to 7:30 pm. This incident left us perplexed due to the awkward timing.
I commend the staff members for their exceptional politeness and their earnest efforts to address the situation. Despite the inconvenience, their professionalism shone through, and they went to great lengths to accommodate us within the constraints of the circumstances. It is my sincere hope that the management takes a closer look into this situation to ensure consistency and clarity in their offerings and timings. This would further enhance the overall experience and reputation of the...
Read moreYeah, it's an interesting place.
You must've seen Shri Mohan Agashe's review of the place. On youtube.
Once you take a right turn from the end of law college road, you have to go straight, and just when the left curve starts, you have to enter left from the gate of the premises. It's like an institute +Co working+restaurant combined, and so is the parking- especially 4 wheeler. Very limited.
The area is just old trees, which sets the scene itself. Nobody wants anyyything more than these , while the PMC is just cutting them down. असो. वेगळा विषय.
The menu is great. They make their dishes well, so I'm excited to try all items off it.
The fruit salad among desserts I have loved.
The 'Chinese' menu is also very well done. Fried rices have very good cooking on them with perfect flavoring. Manchurian gravies are well made!!!!
Neer dosa among south Indian was awesome. Rassamwada was tooo spicy for me.
Entrée: Lotus stem in honey chilli sauce is amaze. So are their paneer starters.
I'd love if they changed their chairs to something more comfortable..
Staff are responsive.
