FOUND AN INSECT!!!! Latest visit: I visited this place on 8th April 2023 for the second time. We first ordered a Manchow soup. This was good in taste but very thick. Then we had ordered burnt garlic noodles. It took a lot of time to get this. I have a habit of clicking the picture of the whole plate and then asking them to serve. So I did the same here as well and lucky for you guys that I did. I found a dead insect in the noodles and have marked this in my photos as well. It was literally on the top! Initially I didn't notice that because I was clicking the picture but when the server placed the food on my plate I saw it immediately. I literally felt like puking at that point. The server took it back and said he will get a new one but at that point we didn't want to eat anything at the restaurant. I offered to pay for the soup we had but they didn't take the money and asked if we would like to have something else but when you find an insect in the tossed noodles I don't think anyone will feel like eating anything else after this. I was having high hopes from this restaurant but I was so disappointed. Hygiene, cleanliness and safety should be utmost priority of restaurants. No matter how good your food is your food should never contain any insects! Previous visit:The place was not very crowded and ambiance was nice. The service was good but kitchen was slow. We could see large number of parcels coming out of the kitchen so that explained it. We had ordered triple schezwan noodles. The taste was not up to the mark. The noodles felt a bit too salty with all the extra sauce which was not well balanced. I had high expectations from the place. Based on the other reviews I am going to try this place one more time but I will be going for something that they will recommend and not something we pick from the menu based on generally what dish is good in every restaurant. Overall I was happy with the service and ambiance and food was ok. The best thing was the quantity. Even though the dishes are a bit more expensive than other places the quantity is really good! I would recommend trying any dishes other than triple...

Located on Bhandarkar Road in Deccan, I had the pleasure of trying several dishes that left a lasting impression.
To start, the Manchow soup was a perfect opener, with its rich, savory broth and generous portions of vegetables adding a comforting warmth to the meal. It set a high bar for the rest of the evening.
Next up were the Dumplings (momos), which were simply outstanding. The dumpling wrappers were delicate yet sturdy, encasing a flavorful filling that was both juicy and well-seasoned. Served with a tangy dipping sauce, they were a highlight of the evening.
For the main course, we opted for the burnt coriander noodles. This dish stood out not only for its unique flavor profile but also for its perfect execution. The noodles were cooked to perfection, infused with the smoky aroma of burnt coriander that added depth to every bite. The balance of flavors and textures was impeccable.
While the food was on the costlier side, the exceptional hygiene and quality made it worth every penny.
The cleanliness and attention to detail in food preparation were evident, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
Additionally, the seating arrangements were too good. The restaurant's layout and decor created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a meal with friends or family.
Throughout the meal, I observed that service was attentive and courteous, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Spring Onion on Bhandarkar Road is a gem for anyone looking to indulge in flavorful and well-prepared Chinese cuisine.

Read moreLocated at Bhandarkar Road, deccan. Authentic Thai menus where spicy food lover can enjoy to their fullest. They have managed to fit stuff in such compact space along with comfy seating arrangement. Ambience is fantastic, modern decor and well presented on the walls n shelf. It was a treat from my friend Prasad on winning WC24, so we were excited to try this outlet. They have huge variety of thai n mandarin food. Initially we all had Tom sum soup, the flavor of tom yum was perfectly made, sour upfront from lime juice, with a mild sweetness. The aroma of leman grass and makrut definitely hit our nose. In starters, we had to go for Veg Crispy ans it was Yum!! Best part of Spring Onion was they prepare their own sauces which blew my mind. We scracted out heads for the main course which was pretty difficult to choose. Staff suggested us to try their specalitity Pad rice, Mustard noodles which was our favo of the night ( medium spicy) spoton when it came to taste, Veg chopper rice, infused with tangy hot spicy saucy layer on top of the rice (We gave it a name "Nose dripper") Staff was attentive and watched us the whole time and ensure we njoyed the food. Hygiene was topnotch. Parking could be an issue if you driving in a car.
In short, guys go visit the outlet for lip smacking Asian items and you will not regret it. Cheers to Spring...
