review : okay i was hungry afternoon searching a hyderabadi biryani in vimamnagar vicinity so stopped hear due to the huge entrance attraction of Hyderabad charminar.

i would rate 3 star. or max 3.5, a not so bad not not good or best biryani place.

slightly overpriced to the portions. but not highly priced.

the place upstairs has too many chairs and seating arrangements not much space to move around like every table is just close enough.

the biryani was served less than warm not hot.

the onions wer precut and kept which loose its freshness its not a local hotel suppose to be

the chicken was cooked properly taste good. but the tatse i found nothing like old city recipe its same which u get in hyderabadi hotel around pune as whole.

Personally i did not like the garvy which is the main taste with any biryani.

no cold water served as specially in 40 degree summers

3.5 stars from my side performance in accordance to how attractive it is at the entrance.

I had visited Ancient Hyderabad - Hinjewadi branch a few months back and had a wonderful dining experience. I was excited to see Ancient Hyderabad open a new branch in Viman Nagar. We were planning to order biryani for team lunch and I suggested to this Viman Nagar outlet - hoping they would be serving the same brilliant biryani. But how wrong I was! We ordered 2 full Ancient Special Chicken Biryani and what I did I get? Two packets of plain biryani rice (without any pieces) and 2 small pouches of chicken gravy with a few pieces! Seriously, is that what you call a "Ancient Special Chicken Biryani"? Just plain rice and chicken gravy? The quality of rice too wasn't as good as the Hinjewadi one. No masala, no flavour, no aroma! I had to face such an embarrassment in front of my team! How can there me so much quality difference between the branches? Or you can't maintain the same standards for home delivery? Whatever it is, I have had a terrible experience at this Ancient Hyderabad outlet and...

Waiters are mannerless... I went with my colleagues for lunch, waiters were not even listening to us. One guy took order and shown his face after 20 minutes. They gave us wet plate we asked for tissue to wipe plates which we got after 5 minutes. We wiped plates got order after 30 minutes, without salad and without any accompliments, we got salad after finishing our lunch, they kept our order on table they took lot of time to serve food when it was kept on table during that time food became cold, Unfortunately we ordered cold drink for which glasses were not available in restaurant they gave 5 glasses and we were 6 one managed to drink with bottle, overall pathetic service and unprofessionally manged restaurant.
