I recently visited Baba’s, Baner and had a memorable dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambience — tasteful lighting, clean interiors, and comfortable seating made it a great place for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

We started with the Amritsari fish fry and the Chicken Afghani tikka — both beautifully spiced and cooked to perfection. The fish was crisp without being oily, which is hard to get right. The tikka was tender and flavorful. For mains, I tried their mutton curry and it was rich with layers of spices without being overly heavy. Their vegetarian dishes were also satisfying, with a well-balanced paneer curry and fresh naan bread.

Service was friendly and attentive. The staff didn’t rush us and made helpful recommendations when we asked. Our food came in good time, though there was a short wait when the place got busy during dinner hours.

One small drawback — on one occasion, a dish was served a bit on the mild side for my taste, but the staff happily offered to adjust the spice, which I appreciated.

Overall, Baba’s, Baner stands out for its delicious food, pleasant ambience, and courteous service. It’s a place I’ll revisit, especially when I’m craving well-prepared North Indian cuisine in Pune.
