When you are already a fan of this big chain of wonderful Fusion food Restaurant chain called Cafe Peter your review on the same speaks volumes right? Heck Yeah!
Was at the Cafe Peter MG road with my better half the other day to try out their delightful fare and cool beverages; and boy I am excited!
The interiors are typical Cafe Peter style with the Korean inspired red window panes and artfully executed with nice furniture and graffiti/ murals.
Ordered two beverages, both cold- Hazelnut Frappe and Caramel Frappe- two enlivening drinks which is enticing, luscious and thick- must try!
Their soupy dumplings are ever famous- I particularly like the hot and sour one- with delicate dumplings swimming in the broth.
Dak Gang Jeong with Yang Nyum sauce- now Yang Nyum is a sweeter variation of the very Korean gochujang chilli paste- Hailed as one of the most yummy fried chicken of the world- the Korean answer to the SFC. Crunchy, sweet and hot!
Chicken Ghee Roast Steak- Ghee roast flavours has reached a significant milestone in the culinary scene of the Nation, having originated from the seafaring areas of Mangalore and Konkan. This chain revolutionized this burst of spices into a succulent steak topped with ghee roast gravy.
Japanese Katsu Chicken- crumb fried breast of chicken half topped with a creamy layer of gravy infused with the hot madras curry flavour, on a bed of rice and mayo dashed lettuce on the side- must try!
Donuts anyone?- tried the Choco donut and the cream filled choco donut- both were soft, fluffy and delicious.

Read moreVisited this place last weekend and had mixed experience. Here's detail review:- The place looked good at first when we entered but later we found out it was not hygienic at all. There were cockroaches falling from the light on the table and one of them fell on my sister's head. Others were freely roaming on the table. It was horrible experience. We would have left but we had already given order and one of the item were served so couldn't come out. The service was poor and late. Staff looked tired and not interested in explaining the menu properly. Coming to the food part, The coffee looked great and was ok. Soup was also ok. Pasta was tasty.Mexican Sizzler was tooo spicy. The farmer's Pizza was Okayish. But frankly we felt the rates were way too high as per the service and overall things. We wanted to order egg dishes but they were overpriced so we didn't. Upstairs near Washroom area was awful and wasn't maintained at all. would never recommend for kids. Overall it wasn't good experience as we expected and we paid. Wold request the owner to please look into details and please do paste control for the cockroaches. Not sure if the cockroaches are roaming freely on the table, how many are there in the kitchen and platforms. It's not at all hygienic if you're going with the kids. Please check the hygienic before visiting...
Read moreI recently visited the Cafe Peter outlet on MG Road and had a pleasant experience overall. Compared to other Cafe Peter branches I’ve been to, this one felt a bit smaller and more compact—but still manages to maintain that warm, cozy vibe the brand is known for. It’s tucked into Amba Complex, just off the main street, making it a quiet little escape from the usual MG Road chaos.
I ordered my usual favorites—Coffee Lush and a Paneer Tikka Sandwich. The Coffee Lush was as comforting as ever—rich, creamy, and bold, just the way I like it. The Paneer Tikka Sandwich was well-grilled with a good balance of spice and flavor, and the fries on the side were a nice bonus.
The space might be on the smaller side, but the staff was polite, and the service was quick. The café still has that relaxed charm that makes it ideal for a short break, working on your laptop, or catching up with someone without too much noise around.
If you're in the MG Road area and looking for a familiar, satisfying café experience, this outlet is a solid pick—even if it’s more compact...
