china park restaurant — Restaurant in Pune

Have been seeing this place since almost 5 years of me staying in Pune. They have renovated this place recently and actually merged the Burger house and China Park together as one place. Had been here some years ago just to try their Chicken manchow soup. During that time, the soup tasted quite good. I happen to visit this place again very recently on someone’s recommendation. It was a Sunday afternoon and wanted to eat Tasty Chinese food. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Their outdoor seating is very casual and looks like a shabby place. Good for good big groups to enjoy a conversation over food. Their indoor is bigger and a bit neater then the outdoor. Anyways you have to go and give the order inside even if you want to sit outdoor. There is no ambience as such in this place, its just go order, sit, eat and get out. Being a Sunday afternoon the indoor was quite full and I saw many orders of Zomato going out too. I ordered for a Chicken Combo rice, which consisted of Schezwan Fried rice along with Hot and garlic Chicken. The dish when it came looked very appealing and tasty. The quantity was more than good enough for 1 person and was also value for money. As soon as I tasted the first bite, it was all right nothing very exciting. Their Schezwan sauce is very sad in taste and does not give that Chinese flavor. The Hot and garlic chicken lacked quality and taste. If you guys will ask I will visit this place again, may be yes but won’t eat their combo for sure or may be try something else in the combo. It is a quick place to eat your food and good when it comes to pricing. Casual place to hang around and meet someone casually over some value...

Ive visited this restaurant at night just because i was hungry n i know there quality is good and i Every time i visit this place they always take time to deliver your food 1hr late always but i wait for it but this time I've experienced very harshful behaviour by the restaurateur cashier uncle ..There service is pathetic..only 2 waiters doing multiple task no other such manpower is there.The Uncle at the Cash counter don't know how to talk with people.He talk in english but the way they'll insult customer just because of we complain about the food..we ordered fried rice which we got were got 1 hr by delayed n then after taking 1st bite we found it way too much salt for that we complain about him he refunded the half of the money n but refuse to pay full just because we ate one bite...n disrespectfully threwing the money infornt of other customer,you are not disrespecting us but your Business...most ridiculous m pathetic act ...Ive ever experienced ever ...This type of behaviour with the customer by the restauter is Pathetic..you've to order pay 1st then they will allow you to wait for hours telling us it will take 15mins ..then if complain about anything they will humiliates you ...which restaurateur do this..Please do not visit this...

A Mixed Experience at China Park, Koregaon Park

I recently visited China Park in Koregaon Park with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. While the staff were courteous and attentive, the food failed to impress. But what really left a sour taste was the owner's reluctance to provide an original bill, instead opting to calculate it manually.

The positives first - the staff were friendly and prompt, ensuring our table was well-serviced throughout the meal. However, the food was a letdown. The dishes we ordered lacked flavor and depth, failing to meet our expectations.

But the real disappointment came when we asked for the bill. Instead of providing a printed receipt, the owner manually calculated the total, which raised some suspicions. When questioned, they seemed evasive and unwilling to provide a detailed breakdown.

Overall, while China Park has potential, the subpar food and questionable billing practices need improvement. Until then, I'd recommend caution to...
