I recently visited the Haldiram's outlet at Viman Nagar, Phoenix Mall, and had an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with modern yet traditional touches that made it a perfect spot for casual dining. The menu, as expected, offered a wide variety of classic Indian snacks, chaats, and sweets, each prepared to perfection.
What truly elevated our visit was the excellent service provided by Bhagyashree. She was attentive, courteous, and had a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring we had a memorable meal. From suggesting popular dishes to checking in on us to make sure everything was to our liking, Bhagyashree made the experience feel special.
We tried the famous Raj Kachori and Pani Puri, both of which were bursting with flavor and authenticity. The Samosa Chaat was another highlight — crispy, spicy, and tangy, exactly what you’d expect from a top-tier chaat place.
Overall, Haldiram's at Phoenix Mall in Viman Nagar delivered an outstanding experience, both in terms of food quality and customer service. Bhagyashree's hospitality truly set the tone for our visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Indian snacks with excellent service.

Read morePlease note this is my view only based on my experience last night. If you are looking for mindful eating then you need to look for other places. To begin with this place seems to be overrated and overpriced. We ordered the Raj Kachori, Pani Puri, Grilled Paneer Sandwich. The Pani puri filling was cold, the water was having no taste. The Raj Kachori for me there was no kachori, it was just dahi with some chat bundled in thin big puri, it was paiso ki chori for me. The sandwich was ok at least that worked as the real reason to have food there was for our son to have his dinner as he had to have it and we had to wait for a while in the mall late enough.
The staff is very polite even under so much pressure. The cleaning of tables was quick so that helped us to eat inside otherwise it would be a challenge to find a place in food court to sit down and eat. So the two stars are for them.
For washing hands there could be a basin in the restaurant itself as one needs to go the mall facility just for that or provide wet tissue atleast.
Overall It would be my last option to have a quick bite there. Probably they could start a chain called Jaldiram where you have to finish your food Jaldi Jaldi.
Anyways wishing them...

I absolutely loved their rice bowls until one evening when I ordered their new Paneer Butter Masala Rice Bowl—a recent addition, as they claim—and waited for a good 25 minutes outside the outlet since there was no seating available at the time. During this period, I enquired about the food once or twice. After 25 minutes, when I asked about my order, they told me to wait for 5 more minutes. Since I was in a hurry, I requested them to pack it as a takeaway. At the counter, I noticed an already half-prepared rice bowl in a delivery container. Despite that, I continued waiting, assuming my food was being freshly "prepared", and hence the wait time! However, I was wrong. After 10 more minutes, when I followed up again, the counter person simply poured paneer and an already-prepared curry (which had been sitting there all along) into the bowl, sealed it, and handed it over to me.
I feel cheated. Is this how they deceive customers into thinking the food is being freshly "prepared," making us wait for 30–40 minutes unnecessarily?
Absolutely...
