Pop Tate's Shivaji Nagar — Restaurant in Pune

Pop Tate's has been a place that has been on my wishlist for a while and I had the opportunity to visit the place and try out the things which they have on offer. Pop Tate's is known for its Continental food & the variety of Sizzlers they have on their menu.

Food: 5/5 Their food is an absolute highlight of this place. Will guide through the dishes that I tried.

Paneer Africano: 5/5 This one is made of soft pieces of Paneer fried in a zingy Africano sauce. The chunks of Paneer were nicely marinated in the Africano sauce which surely pamper your tastebuds. The dish was absolutely scrumptious and you definitely can't have enough of it. It's an in-house speciality and even I would highly recommend trying this one.

Grilled Paneer Tikka: 4/5 This dish consisted of big chunks of Paneer which were nicely grilled and had a nice hint of spice due to black pepper. The quality of Paneer used is top-notch!

BBQ Paneer Pizza: 4/5 This one was made from freshly baked dough and the crust was great! Topped with flavourful BBQ sauce and some generous chunks of Paneer made it absolutely delightful and worth the money!

Veg Mexicano Sizzler: 4/5 Pop Tate's is known for its sizzlers and this one lived up to it. It had a melange of Veggies and Mexican sauce which gave it a nice Mexican touch. You can have it with rice/ noodles according to your preference. The smoking hot sizzlers hit the right note with the flavours.

Gooey Dark Chocolate (Sizzling Brownie): 5/5 A perfect meal deserves a perfect dessert to sum it up. The Sizzling Brownie was exactly that perfect dessert. Gooey Dark Chocolate dripping all over the Brownie topped with Vanilla ice cream. Would surely recommend trying this one.

Beverages: 4/5

Strawberry Mint Sparkle: 4/5 Prepared with Fresh Mint, Strawberry and Lemonade, this one was absolutely refreshing to have. The sweetness of the drink was also balanced.

Spicy Guava Lady: 4/5 As the name suggests, this one is made from Guava Juice mixed with Tabasco, Pink Salt and Lime. It had that authentic Guava flavour to it with a hint of spice!

Overall this place has an amazing vibe to it with some really amazing experiences with the food and quick service to top it all.

I would surely be visiting the place again for trying out some more stuff...

Visited this place on Saturday night with my cousins. If you are planning to visit here then please book your table ow you need to wait at least 15 to half n hour.

For drinks we had 2 BIRA white tower, 6 LIIT, 2 Monsoon Apple Cyder, 2 Monsoon Coffee Made, 1 The underdawg.

LIIT was really good. Monsoon Apple Cyder was okay.

For food we had 1 Fries, 1 Melwyn Fries, 1 Afrikano chicken, 1 chicken Peri Peri kebabs , 1 cheese garlic bread, 1 Cheese Chili toast, 1 Giardino large Pizza, 1 Rustic chicken pepperoni large pizza, 1 Poptate's fried chicken, 1 Greek style baked mac n cheese , 1 Pot roast chicken , 1 Chicken tikka burritos, 1 Veggies mixed grill sizzler.

Chicken Peri Peri kebabs were so delicious, chicken were perfectly marinated with added Peri Peri sauce is just like heaven. We can call it as chicken satay. I will surely recommend this for everyone.

Chicken Affricano were also good. Chicken was perfectly cooked.

Rustic chicken pizza were completely disappointed. Chicken pepperoni plus coriander plus herbs and added some cheese on it. It was not good.

Veg Giardiano pizza was good. It was loaded with fresh garden veggies, corns, Red onions, olives, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos.

Poptate's fried chicken was also good. Fried chicken served with red spicy chutney. It was a good combination.

Greek style baked mac n cheese veg pasta. It was okay. Added cheese was a bit less rest of the pasta was okay.

Pot Roast Chicken was too good. Chicken breast served with mashed potatoes, veggies, fries. Chicken was perfectly marinated and we'll coocked. Try this dish.

Chicken tikka burritos was nice. Stuffed roll includes Chicken tikka , Mexican rice , refried beans n cheese.

Ambiance is good. Seating area is also good. Smoking area is different and it's completely closed. Staff is polite and friendly.
