PopTate's — Restaurant in Pune

I have tremendously enjoyed visiting their branch in Four Bungalows and was really excited to see one open up in Pune. I was glad to see that this one’s way more spacious!

Right next to E-square mall Poptate’s is a really chill place to have a few drinks or grab a bite! Inspired from the Poptate’s in the Archie comic series this place has a very well decorated and bright decor. The entire place is filled with classic movie posters which is an absolute delight for movie buffs like me!🍿

They have incredible pocket-friendly offers throughout the week and also offer 10% student discount. So don’t forget to carry your ID card!

What you can try:

Their nachos and tacos (both veg and non veg) are assured MUST-TRYs! They are flavoursome and really filling with loads of beans and cheese.

Their bruschetta is another amazing cheesy delight!

For drinks, Miami Watermelon is a sugar-free and ice-free relish.

What to avoid:

Their ‘After Glow’ literally tastes like Tropicana with ice.

The pot roasted lamb’s sauce is extremely rich however, the lamb feels quite undercooked.

I also tried their Popeye @ Poptate’s and I didn’t like it much but that’s probably because it was cold. The service is so quick that they bring all the food together. So while you enjoy their one dish the other one gets cold.

I am sry but this restaurant killed the poptates experience for me. I hv almost eaten in every branch of theres in mumbai and found the food to be grt everytime but here they only got the ambience copied and forgot to get a good chef

We ordered veg lasagna here and it was horrible. First the quantity was almost half of what they serve in mumbai branches. Even the garlic bread served was much smaller thn Mumbai branches. My first thought was may be less is good concept is followed here. So i was hyped to check the quality of food.

It was so pathetic. We were happy tht our order got served in 3 mins after ordering but when we started eating thts when we realised its not freshly cooked instead just warmed. Almost no cheese on top and stuffing below it was tasteless.

Plz don’t come here with high hopes. When I asked for feedback app I was told its server was down, so not only there food standards are low there way of handling complaints was way to low thn tht.

Not at all recommended.

This was the first time we went to @pop_tates . The Service, Portions and Price is on point. If you have a big group you are going to have a good time for sure. It's a perfect place to experience a typical Indian Pub Culture, loud noisy crowd, good music and good food. We were well served, well taken care of by the manager and attendants in general.
