Radhika Bhojanalay – Worth the Hype!
I had been planning to try the thali at Radhika Bhojanalay for quite some time, and yesterday I finally made it — and I must say, it was truly worth the hype! The place lived up to its reputation and offered a delightful dining experience.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly. The owner and the staff are extremely nice, friendly, and cooperative, which immediately set a positive tone for the meal. The ambience carries that authentic old Pune vibe, simple yet charming, giving a nostalgic feel while enjoying the food.
I went for their thali, and it was indeed a treat. Every item was thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced in flavors, and served generously. It wasn’t just filling, but also comforting in the way only a homely thali can be. Definitely a recommendation if you’re someone who enjoys wholesome Maharashtrian food.
One added convenience is the ample parking space, so you don’t have to worry about where to leave your vehicle, and the place is also easy to locate.
Overall, a very satisfying experience — both in terms of food and hospitality. Highly recommend trying it...
Read moreAn unhygienic place to be with really sub-par food. Went yesterday to have lunch here and the experience was bad. They charge 120/thali on regular days, in advance, give a token and let you have a seat. The surroundings were unhygienic, extremely old and worn off, neither were the waiters upto the mark. Even the food was less than average quality and the taste not at all worth noting. Their kitchen too is unclean. A huge room for improvement in food hygiene, taste and quality. The place is begging for renovation. Owners should consider having a welcoming interior, some false ceiling, modern lighting, better seating, cleanliness, neat and hygienic kitchen and presentable waiters. I think all over pune they don't feel like renovating their interiors just because they have enough customers who don't expect much and are used to worn off and old,...
Read more"I recently visited Radhika Bhojnalaya in Pune, known for serving authentic Maharashtrian thalis. The meal was a delightful experience with a variety of traditional dishes that felt like a home-cooked feast. The puris were perfectly fluffy and paired wonderfully with the creamy, sweet amrakhand. The aluchi bhaji had a balanced tangy flavor, while the cholechi bhaji added a robust, spiced element to the meal. The rice served with the thali rounded out the meal, making it hearty and satisfying. For anyone craving an authentic Maharashtrian dining experience, Radhika Bhojnalaya is a...
