The Chocolate Room — Restaurant in Pune

Pros:

So this place is one of the best in its own category.

The menu is such that you would want to to order everything, from pastas to pizzas to speghetti to waffles to paninos to the never ending desserts.

But one thing that you would definitely order is the chocolate fondue. It is absolutely delicious, there are three varieties of chocolate, dark, milk and white while five items that you would want to eat with the sauce... Definitely order the cherries which taste yummy with the sauce. But in the menu the display image is of several fruits while only cherries we're available.. yet it was lovely..

Apart from chocolate fondue, they have a classic cheese fondue as well...

Value for money was also good as we ordered 1garlic bread, 1pizza and 1fondue and it came to 800/- which is less as compared to Delhi NCR rates.

Ambience was lively.

Tooooooo noisy

Chairs were tooooooo low barely your head could reach the table.

Staff was too finicky about the menu, they sent 3 ppl to collect our menu and collected it in spite of our refusing, we got pissed off and didn't order further...

Wait line is huge so after eating the staff would apologize but would want you to leave immediately so you can't chill out with friends and chat, you need to rush out so others can...

A long overdue chillax session with my daughter,friend and her son. Enjoyed scrumptious savouries and our favourite dessert chocolate bomb together! Fun day with the kiddos! We oredered: Iced tea(Lime): It's a perfect accompaniment to the savouries,chilled n garnished with a lemon slice n mint. Lemonade(cranberry): Dint like it much. It's watery and too sour. Chicken creamy pasta: Piping hot pasta cooked with herbs,chicken cubes and white sauce. It's really tasty. Got finished in minutes,no pics! Margarita pizza: It's a thin crust pizza. Base isn't crunchy but has a soft texture. Even it vanished very quick,cudnt click pics. Caesar salad: Liked the cherry tomatoes very much. The mayo,chicken,bread cubes,lettuce and cherry tomatoes make quite an interesting bite. Chicken panino: Loved the sauce over it. Quite a filling dish;pretty loaded. Roasted chicken sandwich: It's a bland sandwich but with quite a lot of yummy chicken bites. Chocolate bomb: We took chocolate bomb with pastry and vanilla ice cream. Ordered Tandoori Paneer Pizza, Piri Piri Fries and some other Fancy Dishes based on the Super fancy pictures.. (which I'm glad could not make it to our table) So, after waiting for almost 20 minutes what we get is some Chicken Pizza!!! I mean it does not justify the name... the rating... the goodwill.. they have! Okay, being a busy day it might be considered as just a human ERROR but we're not done yet, after this we ask them to clear it and serve us the rest of our order... they bring is the Fries.. Ta-da! here comes the Deep Fried Golden Brown Cockroach!! I mean now this is IRRESPONSIBLE.
