The menu is a delight: flaky croissants, hearty sandwiches, decadent pastries, and even some delicious pork options for meat lovers. And the coffee Rich, aromatic, and easily among the best in town. ☕💕 The staff are just as sweet as the desserts—the woman at the counter greeted us with a warm smile and helpful suggestions that made our visit even more enjoyable.
Here’s what we ordered: 🥬 Spinach Ravioli – rich, comforting, and full of flavor 🍅 Sun-dried tomato pesto with zucchini & cottage cheese – fresh, tangy, and perfect for vegetarians 🧀 Cheese scrambled eggs – fluffy and indulgent, just the way breakfast should be 🥐 Croissant with avocado – buttery, flaky, and paired beautifully with creamy avo 🍰 Tiramisu – soft, creamy, and perfectly balanced (not too sweet, just right!) Everything was beautifully plated and full of flavor. The croissant, in particular, was a standout—light, crisp, and a total treat with the avocado 🥑✨ With warm service, a peaceful vibe, and real ingredients you can actually taste, The French Window is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to. Read moreI had heard a lot about this restaurant situated in Koregaon Park and thus decided to venture out for a breakfast on a Sunday morning. It is not easily visible because the board is mostly covered by plants and the restaurant is located about 30 metres from the road and not visible from the main road. Thus, I would advise to use a GPS to track it. Importantly, you drive inside the pathway and park your vehicle or leave the car on the road.
It is open air restaurant, though the top is covered to stop leaves falling on the floor of the restaurant. However the feeling of sitting and eating under nature remains intact. I visited with my friend and we decided to order something together. So we ordered 2 drinks, the first Cranberry and lemon and the other ginger basil. These drinks arrived the last and turned out to be tea which we misunderstood. Thus Lesson no 1 is to ask if in doubt
I ordered a ham, chicken , egg and a Croissant which is one of my favourite and I loved it thoroughly. We followed it with Chicken toast, which was good too. This was followed by Pesto Chicken Tertine.
The food was really good, but the service was quite slow. The owner was humble enough to admit that he is facing staff shortage and apologised for the delay. I also spoke to a few youngsters who are regular and they told me that they come here to work. Amazing WFH setting!
Surely we had a nice experience and I will surely recommend everybody to visit here if...
Read moreLovely quaint place tucked in the lane next to Malaka Spice. The lane is difficult to walk but it's just 5 minutes walk. You can get parking in the lane but would suggest on the main 5th lane of Koregaon Park. Once you come in there is a lovely portico and garden, and tables laid out to make utmost use of the garden space. They do have an inside seating which has just 2 tables with their display of desserts. We sat in the garden and it was very pleasant. Had gone to meet a friend for coffee and was not disappointed. They had a good selection of teas and coffees and seeing the price, knew it would not be great. But ..it was good. Asked for a Macchiato and it was good but in a small cup. So ended up having another !! Had lemon tart, chocolate tart, cheese cake and would have gone on .... They also have sandwiches and salads. This is a dog friendly place so if you are comfortable with a dog bruishing against your leg, go and enjoy the place.
Ok, decided to give the place another go for lunch !!! Wow what food ....yum. tried a vegetarian dish, spinach mushroom with garlic sauce on an open baguette. Absolutely amazing !!! Then went for the sago chicken with cheese pasta, steeped in butter. Looked a bit wierd but as we dug into it, most delicious !!! Then came the dessert and we had the Jamaican liquor pastry and strawberry tiramisu ...both lip smacking. Topped it up with Americano coffee ...most...
