I recently dined at Hotel 24K, and while the experience had its highlights, it overall fell into the category of average. Our meal included a variety of dishes, and there were both hits and misses throughout the Afternoon.
Starting with the positives, the chicken was definitely the star of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, with a rich flavor that stood out among the other dishes. If I were to visit again, the chicken would undoubtedly be the main reason. The seasoning and preparation of the chicken dish were impressive, making it the highlight of an otherwise mediocre dining experience.
However, the majority of the other dishes we sampled were quite average. The paneer, fish, alu tikki, soup, rice, dal, desserts, and mocktails all lacked the distinct flavors and quality one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The paneer was bland, the fish was overcooked, and the alu tikki, though crispy, lacked depth in flavour. The rice and dal were just passable, doing little to stand out. Desserts and mocktails, while satisfactory, did not leave a memorable impression and could have benefited from more creativity and refinement.
Service at Hotel 24K was another area that left much to be desired. Despite the staff being courteous and polite, (Sushma, Karim Nisha) the speed of service was slow. Nisha was on her toes whenever she was addressed. There were noticeable delays between courses, which took away from the dining experience. It felt as though we were spending more time waiting than actually enjoying our meal. This slow service impacted the overall enjoyment of the Afternoon, making it difficult to fully relax and savor the food.
Another point worth mentioning is the cost of water. It was unexpectedly expensive, and this added to the overall cost of the meal. While fine dining often comes with a higher price tag, paying a premium for something as basic as water seemed unnecessary. This, combined with the overall high prices of the dishes, made the meal feel less value-for-money, especially given the average quality of most of the food.
In terms of ambiance, Hotel 24K has a pleasant atmosphere with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. However, ambiance alone cannot compensate for the overall average food and slow service. While the setting was nice, it wasn't enough to make up for the shortcomings we experienced.
Reflecting on the entire experience, it's clear that while there are some positives, such as the excellent chicken dish and the pleasant ambiance, there are significant areas for improvement. The restaurant needs to focus on enhancing the flavour’s and quality of their dishes across the board, speeding up the service, and reconsidering the pricing, especially for basic items like water.
Overall, Hotel 24K has potential, but it currently does not justify its higher prices given the average quality of most dishes and the slow service. I might consider visiting again if they improve these aspects, particularly since the chicken dish was truly enjoyable. For now, it stands as a place that offers an average dining experience that could be significantly better with some attention to detail and improvement in both service and food quality.
I hope this detailed review...

It was dad's bday and I was trying to find a new place that would suit dad's palate as he prefers a hint of spice.
24k Kraft has always been on cards, I had ordered from them earlier but it was always limited to Biryani and Pandhra Raasa (yes, they serve amazing pandhra rassa)
We ordered from their Christmas and New Year menu(picture attached)
We ordered pandhra rassa, chicken ghee roast, Pepper Prawns Thanjavur, Chicken Kala Masala and Dal makhani, rice and roti.
As always Pandhara Rassa was excellent. This was my 4-5th time ordering it from them. Again it was not in the menu but then I requested them as it still reflected on their menu on Zomato and they were kind enough to accommodate my request.
Ghee Roast and Chicken Kala Masala was perfect. Dad loved both the serving as they were well spiced and perfect for a winter evening.
My wife ordered Dal Makhani for her main course and it was equally good as the non veg stuff.
Worth mentioning was the Pepper Prawn Thanjavur. When they brought the order to the table, I was like why would they serve prawns on a bed of watermelon but I was still not convinced the server explained to me that it was there to mellow down the spice of it.
But I must say, The prawns were excellent taste wise and a bite of watermelon after enjoying the prawns just took off all the heat from pepper. Loved it.
Also the service was attentive and top notch. Kudos to their team.
Will be visiting soon to try their mutton preparations (Goat meat is served here)
