Restaurant: Third Wave Coffee Roasters Beverage: Biscoff Frappe Rating: 2/5
I recently had the opportunity to try the Biscoff Frappe at third wave , and I must admit that it fell short of my expectations. While the ambiance and service at the restaurant were commendable as always, the drink itself left much to be desired.
One of the main issues I had with the Biscoff Frappe was the choice of biscuits used. Instead of using the authentic Lotus Biscoff biscuits, the drink was made with Unibic Biscoff biscuits, which resulted in a noticeable difference in taste. The distinctive flavor and texture that Lotus Biscoff biscuits bring to the table were absent, and it affected the overall experience.
Furthermore, the strong coffee base overpowered the delicate taste of the Biscoff. The coffee was overpowering to the extent that the Biscoff flavor became hardly noticeable. It was disappointing since I was expecting a harmonious blend of coffee and Biscoff, but unfortunately, the balance was off.
On a positive note, Third Wave boasts a pleasant ambiance that sets the perfect mood for a relaxing dining experience. The restaurant's decor and atmosphere create a cozy and inviting environment that's ideal for enjoying a meal or catching up with friends. Additionally, the service provided by the staff was exceptional, as they were attentive, friendly, and prompt.
In conclusion, while Third Wave excels in terms of ambiance and service, the Biscoff Frappe failed to meet my expectations. The use of Unibic Biscoff biscuits instead of Lotus Biscoff biscuits was noticeable and had a significant impact on the taste. The overpowering coffee flavor further diminished the Biscoff experience. I would recommend considering these factors and making adjustments to improve the drink's quality and...
Read moreCoffee is the essential part of life for some people. Coffee is most wanted drink for most of the people and having a twist of flavours in your coffee is a Boon for coffee lovers. The Third Wave Coffee Roasters do the exactly same with coffee. This is a perfect place a great coffee but the service could be more friendly and a little bit fast. Tried this cafe a very first time and quite amazing but somehow I love it for selected coffees. The staff present were neither friendly nor enthusiastic at all. Hence it would be great if the staff were friendly. The coffees I tried are :- Sea Salt Mocha :- A regular mocha with sea salt in it. Not so great a good in Taste. La Vie En Rose Cappuccino :- A awesome coffee with romantic presentation but I hope it might be great in Taste too. The coffee was containing rose water, cardamom with Cappuccino. In this coffee what I found is lot of cardamom which was ruining the taste. Might be brewer made mistake else the management should check for the recipe again. Orange Zest Mocha :- This is the perfect one for which I'll never hesitate to visit Third Wave Coffee Roasters again and again. The perfect Mocha with balance hint of Orange Zest. The yummiest and DELICIOUS one.
Coffee :- 4/5 (for Orange Zest Mocha 6/5) Ambience :- 4/5 Service :- 2/5 Value for money :- 4/5 Overall :- 4/5

Read moreI recently visited Third Wave Coffee at Lane 7 in Koregaon Park, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. The staff at the counter was extremely unprofessional. As we approached to place our order, the staff member abruptly told us to order through the app, without even giving us a chance to say what we wanted. Despite the inconvenience, we downloaded the app only to find out that the ₹150 breakfast menu wasn't available there. So, we had to go back and order at the counter again—completely defeating the purpose.
We ordered the Chocolate Croissant with Iced Cappuccino and a Cucumber Cream Cheese Bagel with Iced Latte. The service continued to disappoint us. The server initially forgot the cucumber and just handed us a plain bagel. We had to return it and ask for the correct order. When the correct one finally arrived, the bagel was super dry, and it was clear the bread wasn't fresh.
To make matters worse, both the coffees were extremely watery and had no sugar at all—not even mildly balanced. I even noticed 2-3 other customers leaving their coffee half-drunk, most likely for the same reason. The quality was nowhere close to what you'd expect from a premium café like this.
All in all, a highly disappointing visit—from rude and careless service to poor food and beverage quality. Definitely not...
