I wasn't expecting a lot when I came for lunch recently but was pleasantly surprised at the delicious meal plus fine service. The ambience is only so-so, though harmonious and clean. Diners can choose either an interior room or a more external one with a unique slatted wall allowing sunshine in yet keeping the street from full view (which is where I sat).
The menu offers a good variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, as well as mocktails and alcoholic beverages. I had hot and sour soup and a veg paratha. Aside from the excellent preparation and taste, I was impressed by the lovely modernistic dishware and several tasteful little accompaniments you can see in my pictures below.
For those who, like me, have to come periodically to the nearby Foreigners Registration Office, Vikram's is a great place for a meal (and there don't seem to be any competitors in the immediate area anyway). The lack of loud music would also make this restaurant a nice choice to come with a friend you really want...

Read moreThe difference between other bars and Vikram restro bar is mainly the snacks (chakna) this guys are providing. These guys don't do any "kanjusi" in snacks variety & quantity. You gets full plates of complementary snacks with liquor. Food is testy and the ambiance is quite good than other nearby bars....
