Daagla Restaurant (Lake Side Rooftop Restaurant Udaipur) — Restaurant in Rajasthan

Decent Venue, but pathetic Food & Poor service, we opted for Chinese cuisine, ordered Monchow and sweet corn, TRUST ME BOTH HAD SAME BROTH, one with fried noodles and other with few corn kernels. Upon asking the Captain he said rudely, what do we want him to do , asked him to call for chef, who later came to change them, which was then tolerably edible & we had it to avoid unpleasantness.☹️ Since there we thought of trying a simple dish so our Next Order was Haka Noodles Veg, which came and again horrible, they were so spicy and strong sauces in it worst than a shezwan dish... 😔

It did not end there, we asked for our bill , which came with items not ordered... EGG CHILLI was added to it in bill no.323, upon objection the captain posed an act of scolding the waiter and corrected the bill from Rs.1040 /- to Rs.790/- removing non supplied item.

Worst was when we tendered Rs.1000/- against a bill of Rs.790/- expecting a change of Rs.210/- , the folder had Rs.110/- and bill was removed with intention that we will not bother and walk away with tendered change of Rs.110/- as against Rs.210/-, I was forced to go to counter where captain rudely asked... NOW WHAT, I asked for my bill with correct balance of Rs.210/- and with sheer frustration he gave me Rs.200/- note against 100 one and made me wait for over 10 min for the bill, which he had destroyed with ill intent.

Got both the bill nos. 323 dt 16-10-2022 for 1040...

A am going to dalga restaurant 11 july with my family we are total 5 member and reordered shahi paneer and chicken Rajputana dal tadka is very good food and amazing view for the lake pichhola and very good staff for service and food colleges to better and good and we have amazing views enjoy for dagla and specially sitting for Lake view with jharokha and children's we have enjoyed and kind place and restaurant is very beautiful and very good view for Lake pichola City Palace and front side gangor Ghat is amazing and evening sunset is very good sunset this dagla restaurants and food prices is very low on this area and thanks for the dagla restaurants all staff is very good service and food thank...

Atmosphere is good but not the people here, they don’t have candle for tables when I ask for tables they are like candle to nahi he. When I order panir tikka with 330/ rs and they provide me 4 …just 4 piece of paneer …. I have wested 82 rs for one paneer …. Staff is like sir order fast it will take half hour to prepare order… I asked for why it takes so long they are like we don’t have chef , if you don’t have chef then why you are open the rasturant… I guess you don’t have to waste money , you can go to shamiyana either where you find live music on weekend which is more better … food is average and price is like sir open your pockets and give us all money 😂 highly...
