Booked through a major booking agent and when we arrived in jaiphur we phoned the contact no and it was a existing managers no who worked there 2 years previous.He was great and put us onto the correct no and when we phoned he told us to meet him there.We arrived to a young Guy who couldn't speak any English, he showed us 3 rooms and they were disgustingly dirty ,bed sheets were ripped and widows that wouldn't close securely and a five storey spiral staircase outside to climb up to enter our room.we didn't except any rooms and demanded to speak to the owner who lived 200 klm away,he said we had to claim our monies paid through the booking agent. AThis agent was uncontested by there hotline and we found a email address to contact them ,after 12 emails they then sent us a email requesting photos ,luckily we were in the area to go back and take photos. When we sent the photos the owner said we were lying and trying to scam him so the agent then sent us a email saying we had to go back to the owner to get a refund.I had to do something out of character of me and go around and get the young boy to phone his boss and waited for complete refund , for which he did after an hour . Worst experience ever . Starting with the location, there's no parking for four wheeler . You hv to park it on the bridge that's about more than half a km. Away , there's just one paid parking on the way but that was also full . Now coming to the most important part that's food and behaviour of staff. I had the worst experience of my life by ordering the Italian platter and dream heaven special thali. Over grilled Sandwiches with green chatni can make you puke . Can't say anything about pizza, as It wasn't . It was like a chapati with ketchup ,not to confuse with a thin crust as it was too soft and garnished with mint leaves. Soft French fries like paneer without salt . Experience with DH special thali was pathetic too. Not only that they also charge amount according to their will in hope that if customer wouldn't notice they'll get extra money. Like in my case 30rs. For a water bottle of MRP 20 and 30 for chapati which they sell for 15 according to the menu they had. So be wise while making final payment. While asking for the extra amount they charged the behaviour was rude like they r giving me from their pockets . View of pichola lake is somewhat the only thing that's ok about the place. But for that view you can go to a lot of places which are more accessible...
