Waiting time is way too high during weekends. Fried rice is too dry, mutton chukka has only bones and very minimal meat. Rest dishes which we ordered were good, but we had to take a long break inbetween for arrival of each dish we ordered.
Following are the time we had to wait for the dishes we ordered.. Jeera rice - 35 mins Paneer tikka - 20 mins for first time, 25 mins when ordered for second time Full fish BBQ- 30 mins Orange juice - 10 mins Water - 5 mins for first time, 20 mins for second time Butter Garlic squid - 54 minutes Samba crab - 1 hour 11 minutes 🥲 Pomegranate juice - 15 mins Mutton chukka - 20 mins (took parcel, couldn't wait anymore 😢)
I have given 3 stars coz taste wise it didn't disappoint although two major dishes failed. Service was good but they also couldn't help on the delay of the food. I understand it's a peak time during weekend but seriously this time duration I haven't waited anywhere else.
And there's a scarcity of menu cards also. These few menu cards keep circulating among the customers and again you have to wait for that. While u r eating / waiting, you may get surprise food which you didn't order i.e, servers getting confused on which dish to deliver to which table. We were surprised with dishes such as Naan, Watermelon juice, watter bottle, falooda etc. which we had to decline gently.
Ambience is good, outdoor seating had cushion seats while AC room dining had wooden chairs. Management should address this time...
Read moreI recently visited the Arabian Garden Seafood Restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. Here's a breakdown of what went wrong:
Food Quality: The seafood served was noticeably stale, which is unacceptable for a restaurant that specializes in this cuisine. The textures and flavors were off, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. It felt like the ingredients had been sitting out for far too long.
Ambiance and Cleanliness: The restaurant had a horrible smell throughout the premises, likely from improper handling or storage of seafood. This made dining extremely unpleasant. The environment gave an impression of poor hygiene and neglect.
Lack of Options: Unfortunately, I ended up here because it was late in the afternoon, and there weren’t many other dining options available nearby. I deeply regretted not opting for something simpler elsewhere.
Overall Experience: From the moment I walked in, the experience was off-putting. The unappetizing smell, coupled with the subpar food, made me question the management and quality control practices of the restaurant.
I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're expecting fresh seafood and a pleasant dining atmosphere. There’s a lot of room for improvement, and I hope the management takes these issues seriously to prevent others from having a similarly...
Read more"Unfortunately, my recent dining experience at Arabian Gardern Mahabalipuram was underwhelming. The food quality was mediocre, and the prices were exorbitant. The restaurant's interior was unclean, and the atmosphere was unpleasant due to an unpleasant odor. I ordered a fish tikka biryani, a chicken fried rice, and a fish fry. The fried rice was disappointing, lacking flavor and not worth the 240 rupees price tag. The biryani was a standard rice dish with three pieces of fish, priced at a shocking 700 rupees. The full fish coastal fry was similarly overpriced at 600 rupees. While I would have been more accepting of the high prices if the food were exceptional, the overall quality simply did not justify the cost. The restaurant's maintenance and cleanliness were also subpar. It's evident that many social media influencers promote this restaurant for personal gain, leading to unrealistic expectations for patrons. Finally, the bill provided did not include the restaurant's name or GST number, which is a violation of government regulations. I urge the owners and management to prioritize improving the food quality, pricing, and overall dining experience rather than focusing solely on social media...
