Well it was a low budget restaurant little interior from road view. We found this place searching through internet and reviews were good so we wanted to try. The menu is limited and also we went late so many items not available. First try was for dinner and we loved there mutton dosas but we got only 2 after that they said mutton items are finished and we forced to take chicken variants it was okayish. Next day we went for lunch and again we were very late and there was nothing available except meals and chicken biriyani. We didn't want to have meals so we again forced to take chicken biriyani. But the biriyani tasted very nice. We ordered for fish fry and prawn fry. The fish was not at all fresh and the fry was more like a tawa fry and was not fried evenly. Where as the prawn was really fresh but it was more like a semi gravy rather than a fry. Since the prawn was fresh we ordered few extra plates. Coming to the cost both the times the bill was little under 1000...
Read moreHad been to this place thrice. It never disappoints us. Their signature seeraga samba biryani is always consistent and worth trying. I had this kind of biryani in many outlets in Chennai but this one is the best and the quantity is also good Their seafood side dishes are just above expectations. Had prawns thokku, squid thokku, and vanjaram fish fry. One of the best squid, usually squid will be a bit smelly but here it's perfectly masked with masala. Seafood quantity is always less here which is not a good thing. Tried mutton chukka and botti once. Chukka was so good but Botti was okayish. Botti quantity was good.
