Hotel Chettinadu Virundhu — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We tried out Mutton biriyani, Chicken biriyani and Naan with chettinad chicken. Mutton biriyani(Seeraga samba rice) tastes good with 3 pieces of nicely cooked mutton and the portion was not sufficient for me. The biriyani bowl looks big in size, but quantity of bowl is small. Chicken biriyani(Basmati rice) , doesn't taste like biriyani. It tastes like garlic fried rice with well marinated chicken piece. Served with egg as well. Taste is bit ok. Naan and chettinad chicken was awesome. It goes well with butter naan/tandoori roti. Visiting in weekend will be over crowded and harder to get seats in AC hall. We have to wait...

நான் இன்று (05/12/2022) மதிய உணவுக்காக ஹோட்டல் செட்டிநாடு விருந்து - க்கு சென்றேன்., சிக்கன் நூடுல்ஸ் ரூ.160, சிக்கன் லாலிபாப் ரூ.190 மற்றும் கோபி மஞ்சூரியன் ரூ.160 க்கு ஆர்டர் செய்தேன்., நான் ஆர்டர் செய்து சரியாக 16 நிமிடம் கழித்துதான் நூடுல்ஸ் வந்தது, உப்பு மிக அதிகம், மீண்டும் அதை மாற்றி தர சப்ளையரிடம் சொல்லி, அதை அவர் மாற்றிதரும் முன் எனக்கு மஞ்சூரியன் வந்தது, நூடுல்ஸ்காக 8 நிமிடம் காத்திருந்து பிறகு அந்த மஞ்சூரியனை சாப்பிட்டு மீண்டும் 8 நிமிடம் கழித்து நூடுல்ஸ் வந்தது., நான் பாதி பரிமாறி சாப்பிட்டு லாலிபாப் வந்த பிறகு மீதியை லாலிபாப் உடன் சாப்பிட நினைத்து மீண்டும் சிக்கன் லாலிபாப் வர 15 நிமிடங்கள் வரை காத்திருந்து லாலிபாப் வர அது சரியாக வேகாமல் வந்தது, அதனை சிறிதும் இஷ்டம் இல்லாமல் சாப்பிட்டு, சர்வரிடம் பிரச்சினையை கூற அதற்கு அவர் இங்கு இப்படித்தான், வேண்டாம் என்றால் தயவுசெய்து போய்விடுங்கள் என்று அவர் வாயால் சொல்லாமல், மனதில் நினைபது அவரின் பார்வையில் எனக்கு தெரிய ரூ.510 ஐ சாப்பிட்ட திருப்தி இல்லாமல் கொடுத்து வந்தேன்... இங்கு வருபவர்கள் சிறிது நன்றாக யோசித்து வேறு கடையை நோக்கி செல்லுமாறு தாழ்மையுடன் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்..

I went to Hotel Chettinad Dinner today (05/12/2022) for lunch. I ordered Chicken Noodles for Rs.160, Chicken Lollipop for Rs.190 and Gobi Manchurian for Rs.160. The noodles arrived exactly 16 minutes after I ordered. , too much salt, asked the supplier to change it again, before he changed it I got Manchurian, Waited for 8 minutes for the noodles and then ate the manchurian and again after 8 minutes the noodles came. I ate half of the serving and after the lollipop came I thought of eating the rest with the lollipop. I ate it without reluctance and told the server about the problem, and he was like this here, if you don't like it, please leave, I paid Rs. 510 to see what he was thinking in his eyes. I...

We eat biriyani, full of thanduri, chicken noodles, chicken fried rice, tamilnadu meals, butter naan, panner butter masala etc.,

Thanduri's taste was not good, the meals were not our expectations, chicken briyani was okay but not up to the mark and the final mutter naan was awesome with panner butter masala.

We finished with kulfi ice cream. Cost wise it's not 6 people we went there 1800/- we spent.

The A/C dining hall is a little better compared with Non A /C.

Staff service also is very slow to deliver the foods 😔 they're taking much more time for each...
