HOTEL SHANMUGA BHAVAN — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I had dinner at this restaurant and ordered a dosa. It was good and crispy. However, there was no coconut chutney available even around 7:15 PM. This would not be a significant issue, as the restaurant offered two other chutneys. Price is 50 which is nominal.

The most concerning aspect of this restaurant is the presence of flies (“Eesal poochi”) throughout the premises. These insects are present on the tables, ceiling, walls, plates, and tumblers. It is extremely unpleasant to eat with these insects. The number of flies was not limited to a few; rather, there were a large number of them. I have attached photographs for reference.

Dangerous Food Safety Issue: Spoiled Takeaway with Mold

I recently purchased a takeaway parcel from this establishment, including the idly. I was shocked and extremely disappointed to find that the idly was visibly spoiled and covered in noticeable black spots, which appeared to be mold.
