Nahar's Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Initially after going through the Reviews, we decided not to go for Breakfast at this Restaurant.

However, a friend suggested why not give it a try,

So, we went and ordered breakfast, the Steward, Mr.Allen was courteous and welcoming, with pleasing manners & etiquette, with decent service level..

The Garden Restaurant 🏡 ambience is upscale, with decent comfortable sofa seatings, enclosed on a low platform structure with wooden pillars, ambient lighting with hanging lamps, also lights spotlighting the artistic floral mural frames. In the Showcases we saw floral bouquets beautifully arranged, and there was this glass door stand displaying some exquisitely crafted metal idols, statues and artistic works in the gallery, All this adds to the fantastic ambience,

Our experience with The food wasn't bad at all, had we relied only on some reviews, we would have avoided this restaurant, Compliments to Nahar management for probably doing the course correction on the customer feedback by improving the Quality of service, and food as well,

We had Idli, vadai and Pongal, with 3 types of chutneys and Sambhar had a decent taste, vadai as expected was crisp,

There is a scope for improvement in the ingredients added to Pongal, wrt it has more rice element and less of paruppu (lentils), hence. only need to increase the Lentil Paruppu Ratio with Rice. Rest all ingredients were perfect no change is recommend,

Now, we do not regret having breakfast here, we strongly Recommend this Garden Restaurant to everyone, and hope the management will keep up their Quality and Service, and hope it will continue to employ competent...

Extremely bad service. The servers may even scold you for sitting without permission. Staff not just impolite, they may even make fun of you. It took 20 mins for them just to tell that the item we ordered was not available, after accepting the order. Regarding the food; Poori was drenched in oil. Coffee was probably the worst you can find in the entire Ootty. They have absolutely no idea what Mysore masala dosa is, although they have mentioned it in their menu card. Ladies restroom didn't had a lock and gents latrine was extremely dirty. Overall very very bad experience and since we were here for breakfast mood for the whole day was spoilt. You may please avoid Garden restaurant. No idea about Chandan restaurant and stay at Nahar. Parking is...

We had a very disappointing experince in this restaurant. We werent attended to for a long time and were only given warm water after asking for three times and noticed intentional ignorance. They have spoken very rudely to elderly people and even abused them physically. There is one person who is really rude and when we were paying the bill ,the table attender when asked to give the bill responded back in a very rude tone saying i am the only staff and have nalmany guests to attend too, which was utterly unacceptable. I will definitely not suggest this restaurant to any one. The management needs to give training...
