Subway Gopalapuram — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I ordered online a few times. On more than one occasion, the rider had to wait for a long time and finally the order ended up being cancelled. Since it's a couple of mins from my home, I decided to see if I could waltz over there and order. There were hardly 2-3 customers and everyone was waiting to order for over 15 mins that I was there. Not one of them did. The employees were all pretty much at a standstill. Each was preparing one sandwich for almost the entire time. Kind of defeats the subway model. If I were the owner, I'd be taking a long hard look at what the employees are doing and improve service...

Edit: Because mistakes happen and because I'm gullible, I gave them another shot, ordering a Veggie Delite via Swiggy. I literally got a piece of bread with just lettuce in it, nothing else. Despite my vehement opposition, Swiggy offered me a refund via a coupon that could only be used at this restaurant. So, I ordered again today and again they sent me something other than what I had ordered. To make a mistake once is understandable. This is 3 times in a row. Safe to say, this is how they conduct business. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace to the service industry and a blotch on the name of this good city. Crying shame. Don't come within 100 miles...

The Gopalapuram Subway is all revamped with great interiors, well-lit and good seating. They are scoring great when it comes to the ambience.

Tried their Paneer Tikka sub on a Multigrain Honey Oat bread variant with an add on of Corn and peas. Badly wanted to try the cheese pull so included it in the order.

The bread, veggies, filling and sauces were good. The OG Subway quality fresh and tasty.

The problem was with the quantity and the cheese pull. Generally the subs are bulked up and lots of veggies and filling are added which i kinda missed with this branch.

The cheese pull was nothing close to a cheese pull. The Nandanam branch gave the best best best cheese pull experience.

I really wish they work on their quantity and the cheese pull variant. And increase their quality like the one that's served at their Nandanam Branch.

Overall a decent experience and they definitely need to do better to attract a lot more...

Had a very disturbing experience today seeing just one person trying to serve both online and office orders. He had not eaten for the whole day, Poor Guy. I hope there is better management from the subway side because this is absolutely inhuman to treat your workers like this. Even though he didnt have any food since morning and was begging on the phone to someone to take over, he still spent time to perfect each order. That shows the commitment to his job. I hope things gets better but this was very inhumane from the management side to overwork employees. As much as you care about serving your customers, you need to take care or your staff as well. He made sure to chance gloves with every single sandwich made..if he can be perfect in his job, why can't the management be....
