Dropped by Fusilli Reasons recently and while the food delivered, the overall experience left me wishing for a bit more care and consistency.
The Fusili Signature Nachos were a hit — the sauce paired beautifully, elevating what could have been a simple snack into something crave-worthy. The Mixed Sauce Pasta, though slightly on the bland side, was still enjoyable and felt balanced. Iced Tea was refreshing — nothing extraordinary, but a solid companion to the meal.
For the price point, the food is genuinely impressive — flavourful, comforting, and light on the wallet.
However, the ambience tells a different story. The place is housed in an old building, which has its own charm, but the ongoing construction made it feel chaotic and even unsafe — I almost tripped over a wire. The tables and chairs were dusty, the cutlery (wooden forks) felt too flimsy for hot meals, and the overall cleanliness was below par. These details can be a real turn-off in what could otherwise be a charming...
Read moreOMG the place was a gem that I discovered during my last trip to Chennai. A friend of mine who is a localite recommended this place, as I was craving some cheesy finger foods. And I just can't explain how delicious the food was. To begin with, we ordered some Tang (pls try it) which is bound to take you down the memory lane. Next we ordered a Mix pasta which was creamy and nice. Next were the mind-blowing Assorted Garlic Breads in the three different flavours (beetroot, spinach-corn and cheese). This was the best ever garlic bread that I have tasted ! And lastly the Herbed Pasta which was more of a lightly tossed pasta salad with a kick of garlic & chilli flakes. Everything went so well with the Tang 😅. The prices are pocket-friendly and explains why the place was full with a young crowd. We loved the food and mood of the place (jam-packed with noisy teenagers). Definitely visiting the next time I...
Read moreWorst experience here!! I had been served with stale food which was extremely smelly!! When complained about the food the server walks in and tastes the food with spoon and says the flavour has been added too much and he convinced me to bring me creamy pesto pasta and after that he is asking the chef to add creamy sause to the existing spoiled food and asked to provide us with that. When I complainted that to his owner(Chirag), he is saying they don't waste food so always modify the food to customer choice with the existing food served. How does any human being in this world would want eat a food that is already spoiled + tasted by the server and the chef? So ridiculous and pathetic about the service they do. Beware people these guys are such a food scammers. I won't even be surprised if they are serving half...
