Chaat Cafe — Restaurant in Thane

The Chaat cafe is located just at the beginning of the food court inside Viviana Mall and can be easily located even from a distance.

They serve all kinds of food stuffs from chaat to proper meals and combos. Now we had ordered a Plate of Samosas since the size of the samosas is really big and they looked tasty. And true to their look the samosas tastes really good and they were served hot with a nice accompaniment of the spicy green chutney and the sweet tamarind chutney. The tamarind chutney tasted absolutely wonderful in fact as good as the samosa itself.

The we ordered a Chole Bhature Combo which contained 2 Bhature, a bowl of chole, a bowl of Tawa Pulav, a Glass of Chaas accompanied by onions, lemon and pickle. The Chole Bhature were Wonderful and the size of the Bhatura's was really huge. In fact the quantity was more than sufficient for two hungry people. Similarly, the Tawa Pulav was delicious and they took care of our special instruction of not adding capsicum to the Tawa Pulav. The Chaas was one of the finest I have ever had.

But the Major drawback here is the cost. The items are way too costly. Agreed its located in a posh location and inside a really famous Mall but still it was costly. The Chole Bhature combo I have mentioned costed us Rs. 320. All in all the place serves really nice food but it should be even better if the cost to quantity ratio...

My visit to this cafe left much to be desired. The service was abysmal, as I ordered sandwiches that were burnt not once, but twice during preparation. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of attention to detail. The staff had to make a third attempt to get it right, which only added to the frustration.

Moreover, the waiting time was incredibly long, a whopping 40 minutes for just one sandwich. The overall experience was marred by this seemingly endless wait, making it clear that the efficiency and customer satisfaction were not a priority.

In summary, the repeated mishaps with the sandwiches and the extensive wait time make this cafe a regrettable choice. I cannot recommend it based on this...
