Finally Social in Thane !!! Living upto the legacy. Well! Social is always a place that never disappoints!! Always a great place!! Thane Social is located at Viviana Mall (2nd floor). Thane social is a place that mesmerizes with its ambience first then food. Everything here was absolutely impeccable. Social is a perfect destination for all the young crowd to spend millenial time with friends and loved ones.According to me this was a perfect place for a date without hurting your pockets. They have opted for a contactless menu. Have always been a fan of Social menu, food, drinks specially the way it's presented.

AMBIANCE : The moment you step inside it feels like you have entered a different zone. The decor is a mixture of Old Thane and upcoming new Thane with a great mixture of greenery over the place.I personally loved vertical gardens and Unique Decor. Very soothing especially in the afternoon. The music was pleasant.The lighting, sitting and music totally got me into partying mood.  Amazing ambience with very unique seating styles. The atmosphere is mind blowing its quite an Upscale design which really attracts and lures the customers to check in. The sitting area is so big. It is so nicely divided into many parts. Large windows, Real plants are complete pleasure to eyes.

SERVICE- The place has servers who're always happy to help you but then the crowd is in large quantity as well. Thank you Mr. Amey - Manager !!! Loved his hospitality totally, he is such a generous and nice host. Thankyou Mr. Amit for attending us so nicely and serving us the best dishes available at social. He was really nice , prompt in service. Both were great at servicing throughout our dining experience, and loved their efforts. Never had such a lovely experience. The staff was extremely helpful and with the best part was that during this pandemic, the hygiene levels were extremely maintained. Sanitizer was provided at every table. This was very commendable. Lots of love and best wishes to Mr. Amey and Mr. Amit for their excellent service and smile.

The drinks menu is pretty elaborate and you have a wide variety to choose from. I started with a WaterMelon based mock-tail which was quite refreshing, CLASSIC LIIT The drink was absolutely refreshing. Overall sweet, tangy and good combination.I would suggest to go for their Signature Cocktails instead of the regular drinks. It was an awesome cocktail to complement the food.

ACHARI PANEER TIKKA ROLL Popular Indian Street Food, Roll stuffed with Achari Flavour Paneer Tikka, sliced onions served a generous amount of ‘chutney’  , accompanied with ‘sweet potato chips’ for the extra crunch!It is so filling too. The taste was superb. Portion was good. Great flavours. It was soft, every bite i made was delightful ! If you are a roll lover you have to try from here.

MURG LEBNANI KEBAB This innovative Kebab was a pleasant surprise.Taste was so good and kebab melted in our mouth. They must have marinated the chicken for a long time, otherwise taste like that is hard to achieve. It was well marinated, soft and succulent.

NON VEG THALI It consists of Roti,Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Rice, Dal, Salad, Papad and Gulab Jamun.I absolutely loved the Non veg thali. It was perfect for one REALLY HUNGRY PERSON. The gulab jamun especially was exceptionally tasty. I think it was one of the best lunch decisions I have made in recent times.The quantity was sufficient for one person I would say. Chicken tikka tasted fresh and was very succulent. Butter chicken was delectable with the right amount of sweetness and roti was perfectly soft.Overall Non Veg. Thali was really satisfying.

VEG. CHINA BOX If you've not tried China Box from Social.. you are really missing something. Just the right amount of seasoning, superb combination of noodles with paneer chilli.China box was so so so good ,The flavor and consistency is amazing, we keep coming back here just for...

I am a big fan of Social restaurant chain and I frequently vist the Vikhroli Social in particular. So I was stoked when I saw they opened a Social in Thane. But I was disappointed by my complete experience. I would also like to add I am posting my review on 1st Jan 2021 but I visited the restaurant earlier so they can't blame anything on holiday rush. 1st I had called earlier and booked a table for me and my friends well in advance but we still had to wait for over 45 minutes outside to get a seat inside. On top of that we were forced to share a table of six with another group of people. This is poor management on their side and really unsafe in these dire COVID times. That was strike one from me. 2nd Socials are place to sit around with your friends or buisness associates and have conversations over good food and drinks. Over here we were shoked to see that the music was so loud that we could literally hear it from the ground floor of the mall where the restaurant is on 3rd floor. Inside it was worse. The music was literally deafening to the point where even elementary stuff like ordering food had to be done by tying on mobile and showing it to the waiters. On top of that it was impossible to get hold of any waiters since we couldn't call out to them and they couldn't hear. This was strike 2 from my side. 3rd was the food quality. We just hoped despite all the above extreme discomforts the food would be delicious. But here too we were disappointed. We ordered a sharing plate of chicken wings platter which had 12 wings in 4 different sauces. The chicken was really tough and it was obvious that they had just microwaved a cold wing hot and dipped in the sauce. Also with the exception of 1 sauce all others were either too sweet or too spicy to the point where its flavour was lost completely. I had also ordered a Virgin Mojito and it was disgusting. It was very watery with too much sour lemon juice and no mint leaves instead of being nice, sweet and refreshing. We were so horrified with the food quality that we cancelled all our remaining orders immediately. This was strike 3 from me. Just when we thought things could not get worse we were shocked to see our bill. We were charged ₹130 service charge on top of GST even though we never received any kind of service from any staff at the restaurant. Thus finally I would highly discourage anyone from visiting this restaurant ever. Instead just drive for 30 mins to Vikhroli Social. I am only giving 2 stars since the decor like all other Socials was fantastic unlike...

Social one of the outlet we were waiting to open in Thane. It's a newly opened joint located at Viviana on 2nd floor. It has pretty good ambiance with unique decor. They have created setups of old and new Thane. Bar counter reminds of the food outlets of the old theatres. They have also shown small shops like those in chawls. The seating area with beautiful plants decor behind with hanging led lights. The serving plates are like those you see in jails and on glasses they have this pauva written like that you see in old style bars.

Being Friday night, the place was jam packed with people of almost all age groups including family crowd. The Music was very loud making it difficult to communicate.

They have followed Covid norms properly. Kept hand sanitizer at the entrance and also on every table. They offer contactless menu i.e. scan the QR code on your mobile and place order.

We actually ordered lot of food and drinks: Sausage Fries (5/5) Tried these for first time and must say they were simply awesome. The spicy tangy taste and the crunchy texture was perfect.

Fish and Chips (5/5) Basa fish has always been on my favourite list. The fish was well cooked with proper covering. Tasted really good and served with salted french fries. A perfect combination.

Honey Chilli Fries (3/5) Didn't like the fries as they were too sweet, the crunchy and spicyness was missing and they were less tangy.

Chakna Tiffin (5/5) I liked the idea of serving Chakna in a Tiffin box. They had options on what you want in the box. We selected peanuts and fryum.

Chicken Chilli (4/5) The chicken was properly cooked and marinated. Also the taste was good. Loved it.

Nachos (4/5) Nachos were perfectly decorated with cheese and red sauce, Tasted like chat.

Nonveg Kebab Platter (4/5) It had 3 to 4 varieties of kebabs and Pita bread. Seek Kebabs were really good. A bit spicy but overall tasted really good. The BBQ Kebabs were okay types. I found them a bit dried and tasteless. Pita bread was soft and crunchy, it tasted really good.

Cheese corn Patty (3/5) I have tried cheese corn Patty several times at different outlets but here I found it a lot dry and tasteless.

Veg momos (3/5) The momos were dry, hence not recommended.

Some of the drinks that we ordered were Chenin Blanc White Wine, Budweiser, Gin, Balentine and Vodka.
