The Irish House, Thane — Restaurant in Thane

Bring out the Viking in you! The Irish House is a chain of restaurants serving up a host of brews and awesome concoctions. From whiskey to wine to beer; they've got it all, and they've got it good. The ambience of the place takes you back a couple centuries into the rustic viking era. It's a super place to chill out with your friends and family and enjoy some great bites and drinks.

The dishes we tried were British Fish Fight, Sloppy Ribs, Dublin High Steak and for drinks, the Detonator & Dublin Wisdom.

A blend of Irish whiskey, Jagermeister, Martini Rosso and spices make The Detonator a real blast of flavour on the palette. This cocktail was really lovely. The Dublin Wisdom on the other hand wasn't anything special and was pretty much a whiskey on the rocks.

What better way to enjoy a chilled out evening than with some quick and easy bites. British Fish Fight, the classic batter fried fish is one such classic and was done well here. And who doesn't want themselves some sticky, fall off the bone ribs? A really well marinated and perfectly cooked dish, with a sweet and mildly spicy cranberry and wine sauce. A buffalo steak with an absolute smashing red wine jus and smooth creamy mash, the Dublin High Steak was yum. Unfortunately, when the waiter took our order, he didn't ask us how we'd want it cooked.
