Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Tripura

I went there today in a hope to sip in some good coffee and have a relaxed evening. First of all temperature in that cafe was suffocating and humid. AC was set to such a temperature. We somehow after half n hour found a table where ac was working and switched tables. I didn't have a good experience today.

The table which we found empty and sat - was immediately next to dustbin. Not sure how that arrangement is working. Not actually next to dustbin , it was just with the dustbin.

I took my little sister to treat her. I went up to the countwr to place order and the waiter just made a gesture ✋️ like this with a irritated face and asked me to go back to my seat. Not even " pls allow us some time, will take your order shortly ". It was very rude. We had to wait 30 minutes, whereas the waiters were just chitchatting among themselves.

I ordered brownie shake and asked whether icecream addon option is there like the cold coffee..he said yes and so i ordered 2 shakes with icecream addons. Also ordered smoked chkn sandwich and spinsch cheese corn sandwich. He by himself added chips. I said ok.

We had to ask for the chips twice. Atlast got 2 packets of lays chips 🫤

Sandwiches tasted dry and very bad.

They charged for the cheese even. Not sure how.

There was only 2 pieces of chkn and just a spoon mayonnaise. No veggies, nothing. Tasted dry, chewy and rubbish.

The spinach filling seemed stale and sour.

The googly came when i checked my bill and found that i was charged for cheese separately, and for icecream addon they charged me 520 + gst. 🤯🤯🤯

I asked them that in menu addons were within 60 rupees. To which the waiter again with attitude answered me casually that "oh.. u asked for addons?? I didnt hear than, i thought you asked icecream" . I mean what the hell.. why should i pay 500 bucks for your hearing issue dude.. u didn't even serve me ice-cream, it was just cream.. that too plain white foam.cream.. not even a flavor.

Then he asked me to leave saying wveeyone is eating quietly than i shouldn't complain either.

I am never vising CCD again.

I hope the management reads my review and take some...

I have been living in Bangalore for many years, and coffee has become a must for me every morning. While I usually manage with instant coffee, I decided to visit a Café Coffee Day nearby to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

To my surprise, the staff refused to serve me unless I installed their mobile app. My phone is already full of apps, and I didn’t want to download another just to have a coffee. I don’t blame the staff, but I don’t understand why they can’t make a bill without the app. It just doesn’t make sense to me from a business point of view.

I was ready to order two coffees, pastries, and maybe more, but they didn’t seem to realize that my order mattered. The revenue they could have earned from me was important. As someone who runs a business, I find it hard to understand why they would turn away a willing customer. I was simply craving a cup of coffee, and they could have made a sale— it could have been a win-win for both.

I wonder who they are really working for—coffee lovers like us or just to push app downloads? I left feeling disappointed and hope Café Coffee Day rethinks...

Well, first of the ambience was quit good however there weren't enough variety of food & drinks available there at there, apart from that the sitting space wasn't enough broad enough and it's closely blocked. Staff who were serving there weren't enough cooperative with the customer & they are so desperate that they don't give a damn at all. And it's obvious that people mostly went for hanging out and spent some of there precious time. And in terms of amenities you can't expect anything, and surprising one thing is sure that you won't find the CCD trending stuff specially here at Agartala CCD, from to more clarify this statement I can share a small experience, in my first visit I specially went there to try that CCD trending milk shake and more over there's a special buy one get one free offer at a price if 105 however when I went there at the reception to order this milkshake I come to know that its out of stock. Seriously how you people fulfill the minimum expectation of the customer out there. Which concludes the whole scenario of my first...
