We had our lunch here after a visit to Sankatmochan temple (remains closed between 12 to 3) - it took 5 minutes on a hired e-rickshaw. At 12:45, they just opened for lunch and started accepting orders. A midsized dining space with 4 tables - 1 large, 1 medium and 2 smaller tables (seats 2). There’s also an enclosed area, but we were told that that area only has small 2-seaters. Handi mutton, obviously took center stage - food was perfectly cooked, portion size is good, spices are perfectly balanced. We did request for fish as well, but they didn’t have in stock. Overall, very good experience and I’d recommend for all wanting to experience taste of Champaran style meat.

Worst experience ever,I would never suggest any one to go on this restaurant if you really love mutton or chicken don't go there. They serve raw and boiled mutton chicken with pre uncooked gravy and says its our special dish mutton matka or chicken matka, PLEASE try any other champaran outlet. Don't go there Champaran Ravindra puri.

Champaran meat, also known as Champaran mutton or Ahuna mutton, is a traditional dish from the Champaran district of Bihar, India. It's known for its rich, smoky flavor and is slow-cooked in a sealed clay pot (handi), which locks in the aroma and enhances the taste. 1. Authentic Preparation Method: 2. Ingredients: 3. Whenever I hear about champaran I think of only one thing Ahuna. We ordered one Kg of A huna mutton from this particular franchise for our dinner. While placing order we had updated remark making well done mutton. Anyways in Ahuna dish meats are supposed to be well done on slow heat in single pot cooking but still just to make sure we did put remark. Guess what? Meat was not cooked well. One needed to tear apart meat from bones using both hands and almost entire jaw. Curry was good, may be that's it has a set standard combination of spices. Given the market is getting competitive with more and more handi cooked food options popping up in market this particular Champaran needs to pull...

If you are someone planning to have dinner here... Sorry to say But don't visit this place.. The chef is not available and food doesn't tastes good. It is just overpriced and the quality of food is not very good.. I mean I tried matka chicken And believe me it tasted like aloo tamatar ki sabji...with garam masala.... Not sure about the other dishes but do not try Matka Chicken/Mutton 🙃. Believe me you will regret if you'll go there.. And one more thing you have to wait atleast 40 mins for...
