**Review of Arsalan Restaurant** My recent dining experience at Arsalan Restaurant left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to a surprising discovery in our meal. Located in the heart of the city, Arsalan is renowned for its delectable biryanis and Mughlai cuisine. Here's a detailed account of my visit: **Ambiance and Service:** Upon entering, the restaurant exuded a cozy yet bustling atmosphere typical of popular eateries during peak hours. The seating was comfortable, and the ambiance was enhanced by soft lighting and traditional decor. The staff appeared attentive and promptly guided us to our table. Initial impressions were positive, with a palpable anticipation for the culinary delights ahead. **Food Quality:** We opted for their signature dish, the Chicken Biryani Special, highly recommended by both friends and online reviews. The biryani arrived promptly, exuding a tantalizing aroma of spices and saffron. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain distinct yet melding effortlessly with the tender pieces of chicken. The spices were well-balanced, offering a rich and flavorful experience true to its Mughlai roots. Overall, the taste and quality of the biryani were exceptional, living up to its reputation as a local favorite. **Unexpected Encounter:** However, our delightful meal took an unexpected turn when, halfway through enjoying the biryani, we noticed a living fly nestled among the chicken pieces. Naturally, this was disconcerting and detracted significantly from our dining experience. We promptly informed the waiter, who was apologetic and swiftly addressed the issue. To compensate for the inconvenience, the management reduced our bill and provided us with a fresh serving of Chicken Biryani without any additional charge. **Customer Service:** The handling of the situation by the staff deserves commendation. Despite the initial shock of finding a fly in our food, their prompt response and willingness to make amends demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. The manager personally apologized for the oversight and assured us that steps would be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future. Their proactive approach and genuine concern helped salvage what could have been a completely disappointing experience. **Final Verdict:** In conclusion, Arsalan Restaurant offers an impressive array of Mughlai delicacies, with their Chicken Biryani Special standing out as a highlight. While the unfortunate incident with the fly was unsettling, the restaurant's swift corrective actions and courteous service redeemed the situation to a considerable extent. For those seeking authentic flavors and a warm dining ambiance, Arsalan remains a viable choice, albeit with a cautious reminder to remain vigilant regarding food quality. **Recommendation:** I would recommend Arsalan for its delicious biryanis and commendable service, urging potential diners to enjoy the flavors while keeping an eye on presentation and food inspection. With continued attention to detail, Arsalan has the potential to maintain its reputation as a favored destination for Mughlai cuisine enthusiasts. In essence, while my visit had its ups and downs, the overall experience at Arsalan Restaurant left a positive impression, thanks largely to their flavorful biryani and responsive customer service.

I recently dined at Arsalan on Jessore Road and had a deeply disappointing and disturbing experience. Despite previous visits being fine, my latest encounter was unsettling. I ordered the chicken biryani, which was supposed to be a straightforward meal. However, I found hair in my food not once, not twice, but three times. Each time, I politely brought it to the staff's attention, and they replaced the dish. Unfortunately, the issue persisted. After the third instance, I was so disgusted that I had to rush to the washroom to vomit. The thought of consuming food with hair is unacceptable, and the experience left me feeling unwell. Given the price point of 444 for the biryani, I expect a certain level of quality and hygiene. The staff and management were polite, but their response seemed more procedural than genuinely apologetic. I chose not to pay the bill. I hope Arsalan takes immediate action to improve their kitchen hygiene and food quality to prevent such incidents in the future. Until then, I would strongly caution others to be aware of the potential risks.

A multicuisine restaurant with a long menu, but I only ordered mutton biriyani. I am not saying it was bad, but I did miss Dada Boudi and D Bapi. Meat was tender, but quite small compared to the competition. Salad is not complementary, yet the price was much higher. Even water is not free. You have to buy it, and an one litre bottle of Kinley costs ₹35 ! This clearly shows that the competition is slowly killing Arsalan. To remain profitable they had to increase the price of their most popular dish and charge for salad and even water. The biriyani was distinctly salty, perhaps because they used butter. Essence and food colour was clearly present, but the potato was really good. Quantity was not much but sufficient for most. If you are a big eater, nurtured by unlimited biriyani offerings elsewhere, then you'll be very disappointed with the quantity of rice. Ambience was nice, the place was super clean and staff polite.

I am a food lover and I visited Arsalan several times at their several outlets at Kolkata. I wanted to share my experience at Jessore road Branch. I ordered the wings kebabs of Arsalan and they served rotten kebabs after spending about 1 hour. It smelled bad though it was served. When I asked the manager, they changed it. My question is how did they serve rotten kebabs? If it was not verified it would be horrible. I wanted to seek attention from the owner to maintain the reserved food quality. When they served food after the return it was completely tasteless and cold. The garlic nan was like leather when I asked them what was wrong with them? They said we will look after the matter. The garlic Nan looks like a haldi Nan. I have eaten these foods from Park circus branch It was awesome but this time my experience was horrible.

I was there on the day of astami.. As we went to the pandals of dumdum area.. we made our way towards Arsalan as soon as possible.. The food was really delicious as usual.. but still I'm giving it 3stars because of it's hospitality which was really bad.. the place was full of crowd which is usual at puja time..but the behavior of some staffs are really unacceptable.. specially the one staff who was sorting the tables for the customers.. he does have a bad attitude.. and very bad behavior like the customers are there having some free foods.. also he did a really harsh argument with a customer with whom we were sharing table.. that was really a bad experience on the account of hospitality and management which is really not expected from this kind of high rated place..
