Located atop the beautiful Biswa Bangla Gate the restaurant gives a 360° view of the New Town area. You need to book the entry in advance either physically at the ticket counter at the ground level or online in swings dine app. The entry ticket requires a minimum billing of ₹500 per person at the restaurant. I had lunch with my friends at this restaurant. We were a group of three and it was a week day so booked our ticket on our arrival at the Biswa Bangla Gate ticket counter. One important Information for the Diners. There is no toilet at the top deck. The visitors must use the toilet near the ticket counter before moving to through restaurant. There is a fast moving glass elevator to reach the top deck. You have to show the ticket at the gate to access the elwvator. Once you reach the top the glass covered round deck at a height of 55 metre gives a breath taking view of the surroundings. Being a week day lunch time, there was enough seats available. We were greeted at the gate and chose our seat. We ordered Fresh Lime Soda(₹99), Chicken Pahari Kabab (₹399), Khuska Pulao(₹ 229 ), Tandoori Roti(₹ 49), Thakur Barir Mutton (₹ 549) and Dal Makhani (₹ 299). We finished with Dab ice-cream (₹189) and caramel Custard (₹169). Quantity of the preparations were good. However, food taste was quiet ordinary. Cafe ekhane adjacent to Banglar Haat. Ordered veg sandwich and coffee. Both food were not good. In Corn cheese sandwich, cheese didn't melt, neither the corns were boiled. They were actually not prepared for this type of order perhaps. More importantly I found some black articles which they called black pepper. I know how black pepper looks like. Had a horrible experience today at the Narkelbagan outlet near H.I.D.C.O. Beverage stock was minimal.The 2 young lads who were there(saw them for the 1st time today.I happen to be a regular visitor at this outlet in Narkelbagan) are Not just upto the mark to work in a branded establishment .One of them(without a beard) was pretty much offensive.
