Vertex - Fairfield By Marriott Kolkata — Restaurant in West Bengal

We had a horrible experience over here starting from table reservation till the time we finished our food . I will definitely not recommended anyone to have a visit to this illogically famed restaurant especially for ala carte .

At the time of booking there was no politeness in behaviour . We requested to have a view of the Biswa bangla gate as we were 4 people but that was outrightly refused and was given a rude response over telephone. Please change your hospitality ethics and try to provide proper training to your staffs .the management of this hotel should visit other Fairfield by Marriot outlets especially outside West Bengal and see how they are well behaved and take utmost care in bookings as well food serving . Please try to learn some decency take training outside West Bengal and ten inculcate these to your staffs

Coming to the food it's horrible . Such small pieces of chicken that it will not satisfy an individual's appetite. We had ordered murgh malai tikka . It was tasteless to the core and had no taste of spices . It was totally bland . Mushroom kebab was good but only 5 pieces .

Ala carte service is too pathetic to say the least .they are too fast in cleaning and taking away your plates without your prior permission . But to bring main course food they took almost 45 minute We had ordered chicken biryani and thai red curry . Dessert was served after 30 mins ( walnut brownie ) the saff had no idea what ice cream was to be offered He was not even sure whether vanilla ice cream is available in the kitchen. It took 4 staff to confirm that . On providing feedback that service is too slow the staff had audacity not to apologise for the delay but to counter attack saying #ala carte takes time # .how much time ? Try to quantify your delay .

Firstly, I'm trying to give a review for Kava Restaurant at Fairfield by Marriot.I booked for a buffet lunch for 2,but it was converted to as Set Menu.They convinced us that all items will be served to the table and as many times you ask for,snd then they just kept us waiting for atleast 20mins no proper reason.Finally when they started serving,again very delayed service,1 item comes the other one doesn't and no one gives any attention at all.All the staffs are very ignorant,and below average hospitality they provide.Finally when we got fed up of there food service we asked for serving main course and to our disappointment half of the food items were refused to be served,and even after requesting for second serving of certain things nobody bothered.This was my first time experience at Kava,I've mostly been to JWKitchen,and there they have a complete different hospitality. Food tasted good,but very little portions served with no second servings.The staffs are mostly untrained,cannot even take orders properly,can't speak proper English,very poor and cheap quality environment altogether.Very bad experience on a birthday lunch.I will never recommend anyone to have lunch buffet over here,it's a most cheap kind of place which is managed by some incompetent...

Went for a lunch at this place. Very good ambience along side great hospitality, courteous restaurant personnel suggesting some or the other must-try, thereby ensuring your tables are never empty nor full of clutter and leftovers because they're always up to cleaning them as you're done.

I have given a 4 for the food menu, as I believe that more variety of kebabs could be introduced at this price point. They felt good at the taste buds but yes there's room for improvements, when compared to the other contemporaries. Welcome drinks were served immediately after arrival at the table. The pasta and noodles were served in vegetarian option only, which I felt was somewhat a let down, as I'm a pasta lover myself. Upon trying the same, I wasn't disappointed though.

Coming to desserts, I'll leave it up to the pictures for you to draw your own conclusions on that. Each of them, precisely, tasted awesome and felt I would have regretted if I didn't taste them all, despite being full from the main course and the starters..
