Sumi NomNom Bakery & Korean Cafe — Restaurant in West Bengal

Absolute favourite destination for all foodies visiting or staying in Darjeeling, went there after hearing many reviews about this , and was not disappointed at all, had the best Momos in Darjeeling ( way better than other hyped restaurants in the city), we ordered 🍜Mee Goreng (Indonesian Chicken noodles), Bibimbap (Korean fried rice with chicken and veggies) ,momo and single shot Espresso☕. The service was fast and efficient. The cafe is spacious, clean, well lit from the huge windows with great view, with a glass roof providing ample lighting, perfect for great photography. Since I am staying in the city ,so looking forward to visit this place again soon and try other exciting dishes they have to offer from their wide Korean menu and also tasty bakery items. I recommend this wonderful place to all the foodies visiting or staying in Darjeeling. Had the best Bibimbap and momo🥟 amongst all the famous cafes and restaurants that I have tried in this city (Bibimbap 🍱and Mee Goreng 🍝were ordered as takeaways, so the photos of these 2 items are not from the cafe), In my 2nd visit, we ordered the Khow Suey Chicken soup, which cannot be tastier, more authentic than this, also had the small choux pastries as takeaway, but the soup was really refreshing and a hearty food, I recommend this cafe to every foodie visiting the city, this cafe never seems...

During our stay in Darjeeling, we visited Nom Nom Korean Cafe twice, drawn in by their diverse menu offering Japanese, Korean, and Thai dishes. Both visits were delightful with a selection of sushi and an assortment of cakes and bakery items. The salmon sushi and prawn tempura sushi were our picks. However, the first salmon sushi had rice that felt a bit old. On pointing this out, the staff was swift to correct it, serving us a roll with fresher rice, which was much better. Their gesture of offering complimentary chicken wings was a pleasant surprise and speaks volumes about their customer service.

The cafe's ambiance is its shining star, with stunning views over Darjeeling that one can lose themselves in. Add to this, the friendly staff who made our experience all the more enjoyable.

While there was that minor hiccup with the sushi rice, the overall experience was positive. Definitely worth four stars and a promise to return...
