Tom & Jerry Cafe in Darjeeling is an absolute gem, especially if you’re a fan of the iconic cartoon duo! We visited yesterday and were blown away by the charming decor, which features Tom and Jerry-themed pictures and miniatures. Each table is uniquely designed—one with currencies from around the world, and another with handwritten reviews from past customers, adding a delightful personal touch.

The menu offers a wide range of options, from Tibetan Thenthuk and Thupka to Korean Ramen Bowl and Bibimbap, and even Chinese Chowmein and Chilli Chicken. For those with a sweet tooth, there are pancakes, waffles, and hot chocolate that kids will love. We tried Chicken Thenthuk, Chicken Bibimbap, Tom & Jerry Special Brunch, Hash Brown, Waffle with Honey, Chicken Omelette, and the Ginger Honey Lemon Tea Pot. Every dish was delicious, but the tea was particularly outstanding!

The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a fantastic experience. We even got to click a photo with the three chefs, which was a highlight of our visit.

This place was my new discovery in Darjeeling. And I'm going to visit it on my every future Darjeeling trip. As we were on a quick trip we didn't have much time to explore the popular places around. But the delicious brunch at Tom & Jerry's made my day (as well as my trip). We had ordered two brunch platters - one veg with Hashbrowns a non-veg with ham. These platters were so filling that we didn't have anymore appetite left afterwards. The cafe's run by one-man team whose smile, warmth and home-cooked taste dishes will make you come again and again.

I have deducted one star for the two things that bothered me: Lack of washroom at the restaurant. I had to use the public washroom outside on the road which had no water and was in a pathetic state. The small area of the restaurant. Since we visited during the off-season and were just three of us, the tiny seating space wasn't an issue. It rather felt cozy. Nonetheless, I wonder how do they manage during tourist season and large groups of customers.
