Previously was Republik Beer Cafe, now remodeled and renamed as Ltd Edn. The renovation is good nice lighting(wish they started using this earlier, not just when we were about to leave at 10.30pm), big led screen playing EPL football match(and not cricket 🙏) but the dj booth is set up right in front of the screen so he'll be standing in front of it. restrooms have been moved inside the pub, so no need to exit each time smoking area lighting is kinda bright compared to dining area, warmer light would be better.
Service now is much better. Got our food before the cocktails, which also arrived shortly thereafter.
Cocktails felt slightly diluted, even Margherita-type iceless drinks had only a mild presence of booze in it. Could use more alcohol for the prices they charge. Also, few of the cocktails my partner wanted were not available. A few food items were unavailable as well; not good, considering how they've shrunken menu size to fewer specialized items. Beer(bottled) took a while to arrive tho, had to remind them but they promptly brought it after.
Food was good, nothing spectacular to write home about. French fries were done well. Pizza was okay, but cut up haphazardly, uneven sized slices, they could've taken an extra minute to properly cut it up evenly. Nadan Beef Fry had waaay too many whole pods of garlic in it - a fingerful chopped up would do, but a fistful of entire whole pods is too overwhelming. Crispy Glazed Lamb was the highlight - crispy, sweet, spicy. Everything just correct - we pretty much cleaned the plate.
Bill for two people came up to ₹9000 and change. But were able to make use of the limited time 50% off through zomato. Otherwise, for the quantity of food and drinks consumed, 9k is not worth it.
While they've changed their name and appearance, they still continue to hold on to ancient club practices - having the same old dress code rules of restricting entry for male patrons. So if you're someone people refer to as anna, thambi, uncle or sir, remember to wear pants and shoes or they'll show...

Ambiance: Getting up the steps to this lounge felt a bit sketchy, but once you’re in, it’s a different story! Laid-back vibe, comfy seating – perfect for a good hangout session with friends.
Drinks: Flying Sea TC: Total winner! This cocktail had the perfect blend with just the right punch. Shirley N LE: Solid, can’t complain. LE Special: A miss for sure – didn’t quite hit the spot.
Food: With low expectations going in, we were happily surprised! Some real gems here. Lamb Fry (off-menu special!): A must-try if you’re offered it. The lamb was perfectly cooked and packed with a fantastic spice mix. Crunchy Sweet Garlic Prawn: Flavor explosion! Juicy prawns with spices that really hit the mark. Fish Veepudu: Spicy as anything, but it tasted amazing. Maybe the cocktails helped us handle the heat! Korean Chicken Wings: Well-marinated and delicious, another good choice.
Mains: Pizza: Disappointing. Crust was too thin, and the toppings felt sparse for the price. Chicken Lasagne: Surprisingly good! Not perfect, but cheesy with well-cooked layers of chicken that made for a satisfying bite. Kolkata Meals: A satisfying choice! Served with naan, rice, and flavorful gravy – it all came together for a hearty meal.
Overall, some great hits with a couple of minor misses – a fun spot with food and drinks that keep...
Read moreI should have given this review a while ago, this place has replaced one of my favourite resto bar that is the republik. Never mind that, ambience is decent, seating arrangements can be made a little different from my POV beacuse those who are gonna take the sofa would be spending more time so the A/C vent should be on top of them where they feel pretty cold after a single beer and want to leave the place. The staffs are roaming continuously which shows their effort and value for customer but at times they just roam and doesn't actually keep an eye on the table. Talking about food I would rate 1/5 beacuse they don't have any authenticity or tasty food, from startes to mains we all felt it bland. Beef was too chewy and hard. Food 1/5 Ambience 3/5 Staff service 3/5 DJ 5/5 Man that DJ jagdeesh one of the finest guy who had multilingual songs for all types of guests. Not like other bars where that would focus only in Hindi songs 😵.
On service was I was personally disappointed in 2 things One is when I ordered on the rocks I got my drink plus ice, they didn't even ask me how much Ice would I take or anything.... Second thing this is the first and I guess only resto bar that charges for the mixers as well 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 that was too much...
