Madras Coffee House - Adyar, Chennai — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

Costly compared to.otger stalls Coffe costs 30. Only shop tht chrges extra 6 ruuppes for parcel. I bought 4 osmania biscuit. Tht staff gave me salt biscuit. And they put it in thr aluminium foil cover which is used by hotels to pack their smabar thts free. He chrged 4 ruppesz for it. So if i buy a coffee nd biscuit i need to pay 10RS onlynfor packing. And it increases witj number of coffee yu buy.. Cheating.... Not tht scene..

For 24rs i gave 30, and staff is sooo cool tonsay no chng and get it later. I dong understand they r running a coffee shop and all r buying coffee nd biscuits and ppl.r giving chng. But still this happens.

Unless yu insits they Ration on the Filter used.. they gave me coffee in light brown shades tooo... Employees unable to manage the crowd. NO CO ORDINATION with them.... Morning at 8 o clkc they had previous day stocks of BAJJI, PANIYARAM, CUTLET in thr counter. They were lookjng soooo dull. Plsss dont even buy them. Even the bajji was sooo dull.

If yu r in adyar, plss Prefer COOL LIPS, CHAI KINGS , CHAI WALE anf for filter coffee plz Go...

It is initially famous for Coffee and it was one of those Branded small Coffee shops in Chennai which opened initially and paved the way for many shops.

Coffee & Tea You get Tea also. I usually take Tea here. Comparing other Tea shops I like to take Tea here.

Snacks : I love the snacks of MCH because other Tea or Coffee shops have only Veg Samosa / Puff / Cake etc but in MCH they provide healthy snacks like Mini idly/ Sundal / Boiled Peanut / Boiled Corn with Masala of your choice.

Staff : Generally they are friendly and do their job well. They make tea or coffee according to our taste of interest.
