I visited this place with my family, and a great disappointment! This place is a classic example of only style over substance. They have worked hard to a confused menu, looks like they have just took tit bit inspirations and hurried to launch. Hummus platter is the first dish I tasted, a platter served in a cheap ikea bowl, hummus was good, roasted brocolli, chicken and three pita strips, and I was wondering why was the iceberg lettuce served, was it a main component or side component, the quantity looked like a main component, the only good thing about the platter was 2 pieces of cucumber & 2 pieces of carrot pickled in vinegar with cinnamon. Thai cold coffee was a great miss, after having the first sip I tasted coconut oil, while on the menu it is mentioned coffee with coconut milk. On enquiring about it the staff responded saying it is coconut puree. Waste! Cumin crest chicken was the next dish, mashed potato was good, chicken tender and moist, but salsa in the bowl was not a good choice. The management needs to consider providing good butter knife or steak knife while serving this dish. Pita toast with hummus was good. While coming out I noticed the goat as their logo, only then did I realize ,Customers end up being scapegoats for their poorly thought out menu. And, I think this is an extension of Amadora ice cream and that another red signal. This place isn't for the people who respect food...
Read moreI don’t know how to start and where to start . For someone who loves breakfast , this place gave me a bad experience . I was in shock and total disgust when they served me “So called” poached eggs as an Add Ons 🤬🤬🤬 I love Eggs on my breakkie menu and sply on a toast. I ordered Hummus toast and asked if they can gimme a fried egg as an Add on but the service guy , they can only Do Peached eggs n not fried , I was surprised cuz I asked him the easiest but he said only poached eggs n I thought WOW ,and I waited and waited for my dish to arrive 😭😭 after 25 mins , the dish came . I wish I can share how disgusting the poached eggs looked , but the components on the toast were good except the sourdough slice wasn’t toasted at all .. It wasn’t crunchy like how a toast should be .😭😭😭😭😭😭 I was disappointed to the max and was in the verge of calling the chef who didn’t know how to make one poached eggs and they argued with me showing a pic from google n I gagged up. They could have simply said No eggs as an Add ons n given me a simple Sunny side up .
P.S. u can see the awful looking poached eggs , very very unappetising (I wouldn’t even eat like that at home) . It was like a human organ 🫢🫢🫢 n ofc I returned n I cancelled cuz after that , I...
Read moreBeware!!!! COVER CHARGES APPLICABLE!! ASK BEFORE YOU'RE CHARGED LATER. A decent place with a nice sit out and smoking area , but few fans .... Way too few for a city like Chennai. The ambience inside is quite nice in the ground floor and very average in the first floor, hence most people sit outside in the hotel weather itself , if not the air conditioned ground floor. Cover charges are applicable based on time spent there (first cafe I've come across that does this , attached photo for more details) . The rules of the cover charges are printed , buy they too are unaware of it, so it's mostly what they make up on spot. Service is slow. Food is decent.... Coffee is good... The most important for a cafe... But please don't spend too much time there, else you'll have to pay cover charge on the basis of the number of people sitting at the table and time spent. I will go there again, I like their coffee and their hang out spot is pretty cool, but might not order much and hang out longer . Peri peri fries are a must try and their beetroot tikki is my fav...
