Used to be a favourite haunts during college days.
Stopped for a bite cuz I skipped lunch today.
Pani Poori: Wasn't the best I've had there. It used to be the best of the best.
Cheese Vada Pav: He stuffed a slice cheese in between the vada pav, microwaved it for a few minutes and served it along with a mint and ginger chutney. It was piping hot. And the chutney was amazing.
While having vada pav had ordered mixed fruit juice with icecream on top from the juice world next to Kolkata Chat!
It tasted a little bit of everything - apple, banana, watermelon, guava, grapes etc were a few that I could identify. It was served with a dollop of vanilla icecream on top.
Note: If you are not a heavy eater - Make sure to pay extra 10 bucks for a bottle to take home the rest of the juice.

I feel ashamed that even though I have crossed this place for several times now, only recently I was able to stop there and have a Chaat there. This is a hole-in-the-wall eatery that stirs up some amazing chat and heart-warming-not-so-fancy north Indian food like hot phulkas and sabzis.
We had a plate of their mixed chat by the road side as there is no proper seating. It was just a perfect blend of samosas crushed with gravy and all other things nice. It was served quite warm and was perfect for the cold evening.
I found that people around us were eating Jalebis and ordered one for ourselves. It was okay and not that fresh but the Chaat was really good.
On the whole, if you are crossing RA Puram, pit-stop here to have chaats that you...

"I was really excited to try this panipuri, but it was a huge letdown. The puris were stale, not crunchy at all. The water was bland and lacked any real flavor, it tasted more like watered-down tamarind with a hint of spice. The stuffing was off, and everything just felt like it had been sitting around for too long. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone craving good panipuri." And I bought kaalan (roadside mushroom) it was even more worst than ever one could imagine. Mushroom fry was burnt n wasn't able to swallow even one bite. When we ask extra cornflakes chips for topping they don't give. They were rude, show faces, not a...
